TECHNIQUES FOR CARRIER PRIORITIZATION IN MULTI-SUBSCRIBER IDENTITY MODULE FEATURES
Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a multi-subscriber identity module (SIM) user equipment (UE) may communicate, using a first SIM, on a plurality of component carriers. The multi-SIM UE may select a first subset of component carriers from the plurality of component carriers based at least in part on a component carrier prioritization. The multi-SIM UE may identify an amount of memory available to a second SIM. The multi-SIM UE may tune away, based at least in part on the amount of memory available to the second SIM, from a second subset of component carriers The first subset of component carriers may be different from the second subset of component carriers. Numerous other aspects are described.
METHOD FOR DEVICE BAND SELECTION
Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, receiving at an entitlement server an authentication request from a mobile device operating on a mobility network including a base station, identifying authorized network resources for the mobile device, and communicating to the mobile device a resource authorization message which causes the mobile device to update a device capabilities profile of the mobile device according to the authorized network resources for the mobile device, the resource authorization message further causing the mobile device to communicate an updated device capabilities profile to the base station for subsequent radio communication between the mobile device and the base station. Other embodiments are disclosed.
FREQUENCY HOPPING OR MULTI-BEAM TRANSMISSIONS FOR PHYSICAL UPLINK CHANNEL REPETITION ACROSS MULTIPLE COMPONENT CARRIERS
Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive an indication of a configuration for frequency hopping across repetitions of a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) transmitted via a plurality of component carriers, wherein the plurality of component carriers includes at least a first component carrier and a second component carrier. The UE may transmit the repetitions of the PUCCH in accordance with the configuration. Numerous other aspects are described.
SMOOTH TRANSITIONING BETWEEN GENERATIONS OF SYSTEMS AND DEVICES IN A SATELLITE SYSTEM
A transition satellite system which includes a legacy satellite system and a new satellite system that incorporates gateway level transition, satellite level transition and carrier level transition. The transition satellite system allows new satellite systems with user terminals, satellites and gateways to be able to coexist with existing legacy systems allowing a gradual phase-out of legacy user terminals and systems.
TRANSMISSION METHOD, TRANSMISSION DEVICE, AND COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
An indicator in a master AP from among a plurality of APs obtains communication quality of communication with an AP which is a communication partner. In the case where the obtained communication quality is less than a threshold, the indicator causes the plurality of APs including the master AP to perform cooperative operation to transmit data. In the case where the obtained communication quality is not less than the threshold, the indicator causes the plurality of APs including the master AP to stop the cooperative operation.
Methods and Apparatuses for Resource Management in a Multi-Carrier Telecommunications System
The embodiments of the present invention relate to apparatuses and methods for resource management in a multi-carrier system wherein a plurality of component carriers (CCs) is defined per cell. According to a method in an apparatus corresponding to a radio base station, a message is assembled comprising information on the structure of the cell served by the radio base station; the information including one or more CCs used in the cell that is/are available for a user equipment for performing initial access in the cell. The method also comprises, transmitting the assembled message to the user equipment and indicating to the user equipment to what resources to use for random access in the cell. The exemplary embodiments of the present invention also relates to a method in the user equipment, to a radio base station and to a user equipment.
CARRIER AGGREGATION WITH NARROW BANDWIDTH CARRIERS
Performing carrier aggregation with narrow bandwidth carriers includes determining that a spectrum block allocated to a sector has a bandwidth that is narrower than a threshold bandwidth, wherein the threshold bandwidth is based on a size of a synchronization signal block (SSB), configuring the spectrum block as a narrow bandwidth carrier, performing carrier aggregation with the narrow bandwidth carrier as a secondary component carrier aggregated with the primary component carrier, and scheduling the SSB within the primary component carrier.
METHOD FOR TRANSMITTING AND RECEIVING SIGNAL IN WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM, AND APPARATUS FOR SUPPORTING SAME
The present disclosure relates to a wireless communication system. Specifically, provided is a method and an apparatus for supporting same, the method comprising the steps of obtaining random access procedure-related message A, message A including a physical random access channel (PRACH) preamble and a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH); transmitting message A; and receiving random access procedure-related message B as a response to message A, wherein the PUSCH comprises a demodulation reference signal (DM-RS), and PRACH preamble is mapped to (i) one or more DM-RS ports and (ii) one or more DM-RS sequences on the basis of indices of respective (i) one or more DM-RS ports and indices of respective (ii) one or more DM-RS sequences.
DOWNLINK RECEPTION TRIGGERING METHOD, TERMINAL, AND NETWORK SIDE DEVICE
A downlink reception triggering method, a terminal, and a network side device are provided. The downlink reception triggering method, performed by a terminal, includes: sending a first uplink signal, wherein the first uplink signal is used to trigger a first downlink reception, an association relationship between the first uplink signal and the first downlink reception comprises a first association relationship, and the first association relationship is an association relationship between the first uplink signal and the first downlink reception in frequency domain.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR SCHEDULING PUSCH OR PDSCH
The present disclosure relates to a method and apparatus for scheduling PUSCH or PDSCH. One embodiment of the subject disclosure provides a method for scheduling Physical Uplink Shared Channel (PUSCH), comprising: receiving a signal scheduling a first number of PUSCHs on a second number of frequency resources, wherein the first number of PUSCHs are scheduled with same time domain resource; and transmitting one or more PUSCHs of the first number of PUSCHs on the second number of frequency resources.
