Method and system for surveillance system management

Exemplary surveillance system is provided having a plurality of data generating devices, and nodes for data handling of the data streams generated from the data generating devices. The system may be configured to fragment the data streams and store the fragments among the plurality of nodes of the system. The system may be configured to redundantly transmit data through the nodes so the fragmented data stream arrive at the desired location for storage. The data transmission may permit redirection or retransmission based on node or data transmission failure.

Dynamic spectrum sharing with spatial division multiplexing

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A base station to communicate with a set of user equipments (UEs) in a spatial division multiplexing (SDM) configuration for dynamic spectrum sharing (DSS) communications. One or more first UEs of the set of UEs may communicate via a first radio access technology (RAT), and one or more second UEs may communicate via a second RAT in a multiple-user multiple-input multiple output (MU-MIMO) configuration. The base station may indicate the SDM configuration to one or more of the set of UEs. In some examples, the base station may transmit an indication to the set of UEs which may indicate a set of resources to be used for DSS communications. In some examples, the SDM configuration may specify one or more reference signal patterns for communicating in the set of resources.

Dynamic management of telecommunication services at user equipment

Systems and methods for dynamically managing the states (e.g., enabling/disabling) of telecommunication services/features are disclosed. To do so, the system associates parameters (e.g., timers) with the impacted services/features. For example, when a user experiences issues with voice calls, he/she calls the telecommunications service provider (carrier) to help resolve the issue. A customer care representative may ask the user to temporality turn off the VoNR service to help alleviate the issue. When the user turns off (or toggles off) the VoNR service on his/her mobile device, the system can start a configurable timer (parameter) for the VoNR service. In this manner, the system can replace the conventional toggle on/off feature with a time-based feature. The system monitors the timer's value and when the timers value reaches a target value (e.g., 24 hours, 1 week, etc.), the system alerts the user that the VoNR service will be turned on (or toggled on).

TERMINAL DEVICE AND COMMUNICATION METHOD

This application provides a terminal device and a communication method. The terminal device is in a dual-connectivity network including a long term evolution (LTE) link and a new radio (NR) link, and when the terminal device detects that the terminal device is in a power saving mode, and/or when the terminal device detects that battery power of the terminal device is less than or equal to a first preset value, and/or when the terminal device detects that temperature of a rear cover of the terminal device is greater than or equal to a second preset value, the terminal device releases the NR link, and uses the LTE link for communication.

Embodiments of this application provide a communication method, apparatus, and system. The method includes a network management entity determines a dual connectivity attribute of a first neighbor cell of a first cell, where the dual connectivity attribute is used to indicate whether the first neighbor cell can be used as a secondary cell of the first cell, the first cell belongs to a first base station, and the first neighbor cell belongs to a second base station; and the network management entity sends configuration information to the first base station, where the configuration information indicates the first base station to configure the dual connectivity attribute of the first neighbor cell.

SCRIPT REUSE DURING INTER-FREQUENCY OR INTER-RADIO ACCESS TECHNOLOGY MEASUREMENTS AND PAGING

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In a wireless communications system, a user equipment (UE) may be scheduled to perform a first measurement or paging activity associated with a target cell operating according to a first target cell configuration that is different from a serving cell operating according to a first serving cell configuration of the UE. In some cases, the UE may determine that the UE has performed a previous measurement or paging activity associated with the target cell while being served by the serving cell, the cells operating according to previous cell configurations. The UE may compare at least one of the first and previous target cell configurations or the first and previous serving cell configurations, and may perform the first measurement or paging activity using a script, where the script is either reused or rebuilt based on comparing the cell configurations.

MEASUREMENT METHOD, MEASUREMENT APPARATUS, TERMINAL, AND NETWORK DEVICE

A measurement method, a measurement apparatus, a terminal, and a network device are provided. The measurement method includes: obtaining measurement configuration information and measurement report configuration information for a communication, where the communication includes at least one of a first communication or a second communication, and the first communication or the second communication is a SideLink (SL) communication; starting measurement according to the measurement configuration information, to obtain a measurement result; and sending the measurement result according to the measurement report configuration information.
