A method for transmitting a signal by a neighbor awareness networking (NAN) terminal in a wireless communication system, according to embodiment of the present invention, comprises the steps of: sensing a medium in a discovery window; selecting a back-off count value when the medium is in an occupied state; and transmitting a service discovery frame after performing countdown on the basis of the back-off count value, wherein an interval in which the back-off count value is determined on the basis of at least one of an interval in which a back-off count value for transmitting a synchronization beacon frame is selected, the length of the discovery window, and a hop count value of the terminal.

Preconfigured uplink resource techniques in wireless communications

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. that support preconfigured uplink resources (PUR) in wireless communications. A base station may communicate that support for PUR is available, and may allocate PUR resources to a user equipment (UE) based on requests from the UE. The UE may receive an indication that the base station supports PUR, such as via a system information block (SIB), determine to request PUR, and transmit a PUR request message to the base station. A PUR response from the base station may indicate configuration, or reconfiguration of PUR allocation for the UE that may be used for uplink transmissions, or release of the PUR allocation.

An electronic device and method thereof are provided. The electronic device includes a first subscriber identity module (SIM) for storing a first profile related to a first cellular network, a second SIM for storing a second profile related to a second cellular network, a wireless communication circuit including a radio frequency (RF) resource for performing data transmission or reception through one of the first cellular network or the second cellular network, and a communication processor configured to detect activation of a data transmission operation through the first cellular network, assign the RF resource to the first SIM during a first time, measure a quality of a channel corresponding to the first cellular network during the first time, maintain a state in which the RF resource is assigned to the first SIM during a second time, and reassign the RF resource to the second SIM after the second time expires.

METHOD FOR INDICATING PREEMPTION IN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

A method for indicating preemption in a communication system is disclosed. A method for operating a terminal comprises the steps of: receiving, from a base station, information indicating a first resource area, to which a preemption-capable resource belongs, for transmission of first data; receiving resource allocation information of second data from the base station; performing a monitoring operation for detecting a PI indicating a preempted resource for transmission of the first data in the first resource area, when the first resource area overlaps with a second resource area indicated by the resource allocation information; and performing decoding on the basis of the detected PI. Therefore, the performance of the communication system may be improved.

The described technology is generally directed towards adaptive spectrum as a service, in which spectrum can be dynamically allocated to adapt to demand for wireless capacity. The demand for wireless capacity can be based on monitoring system state, and/or proactively predicted based on other system state such as time of day. Reallocated spectrum can be monitored for performance, to converge spectrum allocation to a more optimal state. Allocated spectrum can be relocated, increased or decreased, including by the use of citizens band radio service spectrum or other spectrum. Currently allocated spectrum can be adapted into modified allocated spectrum by an application program (xApp) coupled to a radio access network intelligent controller (RIC), a citizens broadband radio service device, a domain proxy service, and/or a user device.
