PORTABLE NON-COMBUSTION VAPORIZER FOR TOBACCO CONSUMABLES
20240276600 · 2024-08-15 ·

Heating a consumable containing tobacco (or other plant material) without combustion to release smoke free vapors. A consumable having one or more deformable frangible sections is insertable into a chamber in a heating device with at least temperature controlled heating. During insertion of the consumable into the device, a protrusion deforms a frangible section(s) of the consumable which forms an air gap in a separation between the deformed section of the consumable and the chamber's inner wall. A controller receiving temperature sensor(s) input controls the supply of power to heating elements in thermal communication with the chamber thereby heating the consumable.

The method includes: acquiring holding temperature data for a food; predicting serving time point data for the food; acquiring serving temperature data for the food at a time point indicated by the serving time point data; determining time point data of terminating the heat preservation for the food in accordance with the serving time point data, the serving temperature data, and the holding temperature data; and terminating the heat preservation for the food at a time point indicated by the time point data of terminating the heat preservation.

Vaporizer and vaporizer cartridges
10076137 · 2018-09-18 ·

Disclosed herein are methods and systems to vaporize extract, plant material containing organic material and the like, including utilizing a cartridge which may be disposable. The cartridge may be heated in zones or portions. The cartridge may form the inhalation pathway thereby reducing the accumulation of dirt and odor in the heating device. One disclosed vaporizer system has a base with a cartridge interface, a heater element, an on/off switch, a battery, a temperature sensor in proximity to the heater element; a controller in signal communication with the heater element, battery, temperature sensor and the on/off switch; that mates with a disposable cartridge.

MOTOR VEHICLE WIPER SYSTEM

The invention relates to a motor vehicle wiper system comprising: at least two windscreen wipers 12, 22, including a first windscreen wiper 12 and a second windscreen wiper 22, a heating device comprising a first heating element 14 designed to heat the first windscreen wiper 12 and a second heating element 24 designed to heat the second windscreen wiper 22, an electrical supply device designed to supply electricity to the first 14 and second 24 heating elements, and a control module,
the wiper system being characterized in that the control module is designed so as to delay, when the heating device is activated, the electricity supply to the second heating element 24 compared to the electricity supply to the first heating element 14, by a pause duration t.

Electronic cigarette and atomizing method thereof

An electronic cigarette includes an atomizer assemble which may be controlled by a button or airflow sensing. A button module and an airflow sensing module are integrated into the electronic cigarette. The user may directly smoke, and the airflow sensing module triggers the atomizer assemble to atomize tobacco tar to generate smoke. Alternatively, if the user wants to smoke, the user may press the button module. Because of the combination of the button module and the airflow sensing module, before the user puffs on the electronic cigarette, the user may press the button module, thus the atomizer assemble enters heating state and airflow channel is heated. In this way, when the user puffs on the electronic cigarette, the electronic cigarette may generate a lot of smoke.

Safety timer for cooking appliance
09980604 · 2018-05-29 · ·

A safety timer device, for a cooking appliance connected to an energy source, the cooking appliance having a heat generating component in communication with a heat controller. A timer communicates with the heat controller configured to count down a predetermined cooking time. An alarm unit, in communication with the timer, is configured to communicate an alarm signal for a predetermined alarm time after the cooking time expires.

Dual Vertical Charcoal Heat Source

A dual vertical charcoal heat source that has a base with a lower heating assembly, and a cover with an upper heating assembly. Also within the base is a cavity that can maintain a tray that holds a quantity of charcoal. The cover is hingedly attached such that when closed, the cover, along with the upper heating assembly is directly above the lower heating assembly. The cavity including or not including the tray with the charcoal is below both heating assemblies. Electrical power is applied which raises the temperature of the heating assemblies. The heat from the assembles is directed downward and heats the charcoal in the cavity/tray. The heat from the charcoal is then applied to the hookah to facilitate smoking tobacco through the hookah.

Zoned vaporizer
09894936 · 2018-02-20 ·

Disclosed herein are methods and systems to vaporize or release organic material from plant material containing the organic material and the like, including utilizing zoned heating of a common chamber. A controller in signal communication with two or more heating elements each adjacent to a zone to be heated controls at least the heating of the elements.

12160935 · 2024-12-03 ·

Disclosed herein are inventions for heating without combustion plant material or volatile compounds or oils in a disposable consumable such as a cartridge. The consumable upon insertion into a heating chamber or receivor is held in place and is restricted from rotation about its axis. The insertion may form indents or shaped portions of the consumable. It may have a case with a cartridge interface to receive the consumable into the heating system, a key guide, at least one heater element, an on/off switch, a battery, a temperature sensor; a controller in signal communication with the at least one heater element, battery, temperature sensor and the on/off switch.

Device and method for controlling an electrical heater to limit temperature
09872521 · 2018-01-23 · ·

There is provided a method of controlling an electrical heating element, including maintaining a temperature of the heating element at a target temperature by supplying pulses of electrical current to the heating element; monitoring a duty cycle of the pulses of electrical current; and determining if the duty cycle differs from an expected duty cycle or range of duty cycles, and if so, reducing the target temperature, or stopping the supply of current to the heating element or limiting the duty cycle of the pulses of electrical current supplied to the heating element. As the temperature is maintained at a known target temperature, any variation in the duty cycle or range of duty cycles expected to maintain the target temperature is indicative of abnormal conditions.
