MODULAR CERAMIC HEATER
A heating assembly according to one example embodiment includes a thermally conductive heat transfer plate and a plurality of modular heaters mounted to the heat transfer plate. Each modular heater includes a ceramic substrate having at least one electrically resistive trace thick film printed on the ceramic substrate and at least one electrically conductive trace thick film printed on the ceramic substrate. Each modular heater is configured to generate heat when an electric current is supplied to the at least one electrically resistive trace, and the heat transfer plate is positioned to transfer heat from the plurality of modular heaters for heating a desired heating area.
COOKING DEVICE HAVING A MODULAR CERAMIC HEATER
A cooking device according to one example embodiment includes a plurality of modular heaters. Each modular heater includes a ceramic substrate and an electrically resistive trace positioned on the ceramic substrate. Each modular heater is configured to generate heat when an electric current is supplied to the electrically resistive trace. The cooking device includes a thermally conductive heating plate. The plurality of modular heaters are positioned against a bottom surface of the heating plate. The heating plate includes a top surface positioned to transfer heat provided by the plurality of modular heaters to a cooking vessel for cooking an item held by the cooking vessel.
Dual coil electric heating element
An embodiment of an electric heating element is disclosed, including an electrically resistive inner heating element, an electrically resistive outer heating element, and a thermostat positioned along a cold leg of the inner heating element. The thermostat is configured to selectively allow electrical current to be delivered to the inner heating element while maximum electrical current, for example, continues to be provided to the outer heating element. The thermostat cycles the electrical current on and off when detecting maximum and minimum desired temperatures radiated from the electric heating element. The inner heating element has a pair of cold legs that extend parallel to a pair of cold legs of the outer heating element, some or all of which may be supported by a terminal bracket.
BAKE DEVICES FOR HANDLING AND UNIFORM BAKING OF SUBSTRATES
Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to bake apparatuses for handling and uniform baking of substrates and methods for the handling and the uniform baking of substrates. The bake apparatuses allow the substrates to be heated to a temperature greater than 50° C. without bowing of about 1 mm to about 2 mm from the edge of the substrates to the center of the substrates. The bake apparatuses heat the substrates uniformly or substantially uniformly to improve substrate quality.
Heating device and method for producing a heating device
A heating device in the form of a radiant heating device for a hob has a sheet-like support with a support top side, with at least one heating element on the support top side, which heating element is highly corrugated and runs in tracks in a laying pattern. The heating element has at least two heating conductor strips which each have lateral sides and a top edge and a bottom edge. These at least two heating conductor strips are placed together or placed on one another by way of their mutually facing lateral sides and are at least partially in contact. The at least two heating conductor strips are connected to one another in a fixed and non-detachable manner, advantageously before corrugation.
FOOD PREPARATION APPARATUS WITH ELECTRICAL PTC THERMISTORS CONNECTED IN PARALLEL
The present disclosure relates to food preparation apparatus with an electrical heating device comprising at least two electrical PTC thermistors for heating a food in a food preparation room, wherein the electrical PTC thermistors are electrically connected in parallel. The parallel-connected PTC thermistors are electrically connected to one another by one or more electrical bridges.
COIL HEATING ELEMENT WITH A TEMPERATURE SENSOR SHIELD
An electric resistance heating coil assembly includes a spiral wound sheathed heating element having a first coil section and a second coil section. A bimetallic thermostat is connected in series between the first and second coil sections of the spiral wound sheathed heating element. The bimetallic thermostat is spring loaded such that a distal end of the bimetallic thermostat is urged away from a top surface of the spiral wound sheathed heating element. The electric resistance heating coil assembly also includes a shroud cover and a heat transfer disk.
HEATING DEVICE
A heating device includes a heater electrode disposed in the inner portion of a plate-like body and including a heater line portion; and a plurality of specific portions arranged side by side in a predetermined arrangement direction. The heater line portion includes a first heater line portion and a second heater line portion arranged in a location closer than the first heater line portion to the specific portions. The second heater line portion has a projecting line part passing through a first virtual straight line and curving toward a side of the first heater line portion; and a recessed line part extending to avoid a second virtual straight line and curving toward a side opposite to the side of the first heater line portion.
COOKTOP APPLIANCE AND HEATING ELEMENT HAVING A HEAT TRANSFER DISK
A cooktop appliance or heating element, as provided herein, may include a thermostat within the heating zone of the heating element. The thermostat may include a base and a top cap held on the base. The heat transfer disk may be joined to the thermostat at the top cap.
