TRANSPARENT CIRCUIT BOARD AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME
A transparent circuit board includes a conductive wiring, a transparent insulating layer, and a cover film. The transparent insulating layer and the cover film are stacked along a stacking direction. The conductive wiring penetrates the transparent insulating layer along the stacking direction, and is at least partially embedded in the transparent insulating layer. A blackened layer is formed on a surface of the conductive wiring combined with the cover film, a carbon black layer is formed on a surface of the conductive wiring without the blackened layer, thereby improving a light transmittance of the transparent circuit board. The present invention also provides a method for manufacturing the transparent circuit board.

Method for forming channels in printed circuit boards by stacking slotted layers
A process of fabricating an electromagnetic circuit includes providing three laminate sheets, forming a first feature in a first laminate sheet of the three laminate sheets, and forming a second feature in a second laminate sheet of the three laminate sheets. The second feature is aligned with the first feature when aligning the second laminate sheet with the first laminate sheet. The process further includes stacking the three laminate sheets so that the first laminate sheet is positioned above and aligned with the second laminate sheet and the second laminate sheet is positioned above and aligned with the third laminate sheet. The first feature and the second feature define a contiguous element. The process further includes filling the contiguous element with an electrically conductive material to form an electrically continuous conductor.
CIRCUIT BOARD AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME
A method for manufacturing a circuit board embeds a portion of an outer circuit layer in an outer dielectric layer which increases contact area between the outer circuit layer and the outer dielectric layer, improving adhesion between the outer circuit layer and the outer dielectric layer, and reducing a thickness of the outer circuit substrate, thereby reducing the overall thickness of the finished circuit board.

An apparatus to automatically place layers of a printed circuit board on a fixture includes a robotic device having a base that is secured to a surface, an upright column that extends upwardly from the base, and a movable arm rotatably coupled to the upright column. The movable arm is configured to rotate about a vertical axis defined by the upright column. The movable arm is further configured to rotate from a position in which the movable arm is disposed over a laminate sheet fixture and to pick up a laminate sheet to a position in which the movable arm is disposed over a board layup fixture to deposit the laminate sheet in the board layup fixture, and from a position in which the movable arm is disposed over a bond film fixture and to pick up a bond film to a position in which the movable arm is disposed over the board layup fixture to deposit the bond film in the board layup fixture.
METHOD FOR FORMING CHANNELS IN PRINTED CIRCUIT BOARDS BY STACKING SLOTTED LAYERS
A process of fabricating an electromagnetic circuit includes providing three laminate sheets, forming a first feature in a first laminate sheet of the three laminate sheets, and forming a second feature in a second laminate sheet of the three laminate sheets. The second feature is aligned with the first feature when aligning the second laminate sheet with the first laminate sheet. The process further includes stacking the three laminate sheets so that the first laminate sheet is positioned above and aligned with the second laminate sheet and the second laminate sheet is positioned above and aligned with the third laminate sheet. The first feature and the second feature define a contiguous element. The process further includes filling the contiguous element with an electrically conductive material to form an electrically continuous conductor.
Method of manufacturing a package for embedding one or more electronic components
The present invention relates to the field of integrating electronic systems that operate at mm-wave and THz frequencies. A monolithic multichip package, a carrier structure for such a package as well as manufacturing methods for manufacturing such a package and such a carrier structure are proposed to obtain a package that fully shields different functions of the mm-wave/THz system. The package is poured into place by polymerizing photo sensitive monomers. It gradually grows around and above the MMICs (Monolithically Microwave Integrated Circuit) making connection to the MMICs but recessing the high frequency areas of the chip. The proposed approach leads to functional blocks that are electromagnetically completely shielded. These units can be combined and cascaded according to system needs.
CIRCUIT BOARD
A circuit board includes an inner circuit substrate and an outer circuit substrate electrically connected to the inner circuit substrate. The outer circuit substrate includes an outer dielectric layer and an outer circuit layer facing the inner circuit substrate embedded in the outer dielectric layer. A portion of the outer circuit layer facing away from the inner circuit substrate protruding from the outer dielectric layer. The circuit board can increase contact area between the outer circuit layer and the outer dielectric layer, improving adhesion between the outer circuit layer and the outer dielectric layer, and reducing a thickness of the outer circuit substrate, thereby reducing the overall thickness of the circuit board.
INTERPOSER, SEMICONDUCTOR PACKAGE, AND METHOD OF FABRICATING INTERPOSER
A method of fabricating an interposer includes: providing a carrier substrate; forming a unit redistribution layer on the carrier substrate, the unit redistribution layer including a conductive via plug and a conductive redistribution line; and removing the carrier substrate from the unit redistribution layer. The formation of the unit redistribution layer includes: forming a first photosensitive pattern layer including a first via hole pattern; forming a second photosensitive pattern layer including a second via hole pattern and a redistribution pattern on the first photosensitive pattern layer; at least partially filling insides of the first via hole pattern, the second via hole pattern, and the redistribution pattern with a conductive material; and performing planarization to make a top surface of the unit redistribution layer flat. According to the method, no undercut occurs under a conductive structure and there are no bubbles between adjacent conductive structures, thus device reliability is enhanced and pattern accuracy is realized.
PACKAGE WITH SUBSTRATE COMPRISING VARIABLE THICKNESS SOLDER RESIST LAYER
A package that includes a substrate and an electrical component coupled to the substrate. The substrate includes at least one dielectric layer, a plurality of interconnects located in the at least one dielectric layer, and a solder resist layer located over a surface of the at least one dielectric layer. The solder resist layer includes a first solder resist layer portion comprising a first thickness, and a second solder resist layer portion comprising a second thickness that is less than the first thickness. The electrical component is located over the second solder resist layer portion.
