The electronic device may include a housing including an opening, a first cover that is disposed in the housing to close the opening and includes a first surface facing the outside and a second surface facing an internal space of the housing, at least one air vent that is formed from the first surface to the second surface in at least some region of the first cover to connect the outside of the electronic device to the internal space and includes a first space formed to have a specified depth in a direction from the first surface to the second surface, and a second space formed to have a specified depth in a direction from the second surface to the first surface, wherein the first space and the second space are connected so as to partially overlap each other or so as not to overlap each other when the first surface is viewed from above, and a breathable waterproof member disposed to close the second space in the second surface.

An electronics unit includes a housing, the housing having a base portion with a post member extending from the base portion. The post member has a through-hole defined through the post member. A printed circuit board is connected to the housing at a plurality of connection points. The printed circuit board includes one or more electric or electronic components disposed thereon and has an aperture. The post member is disposed through the aperture of the printed circuit board. A distal end portion of the post member is larger than a diameter of the aperture so as to fix the printed circuit board to the housing, forming one of the connection points.

A structural support that can be used as a truss girder bridge crane, or the like. The support includes one or more rows 13 of segments 15, that are arranged in side by side relation along the length of the support. Each row 13 has extending there through at least one tensioning element 14 which is anchored at opposite ends of the row and is pretensioned with respect to the row in order to hold the segments of the row together. A support preferably includes one row 13 of segments 15 in a lower chord 11 of the support and another row 13 of segments in an upper chord of the support. Vertical framework is mounted between the chords with ends secured adjacent the segments 15 by the tensioning element. The individual segments and the tensioning elements may be directed to a construction site at the location of use and assembled into rows and the appropriate structural construction.

The electronic controller includes a waterproof case that accommodates a printed circuit board with electronic parts mounted thereon, and a connector that electrically connects the printed circuit board and an external apparatus to each other, the electronic controller being mounted on the automobile in a posture having the connector directed downward. The waterproof case has an inclined surface that is smaller as the distance from a bottom surface is more on the connector side, and the inclined surface is formed with a vent hole that is closed with the breathing filter.

A computing device includes a housing having a plurality of apertures therein, an active cooling system, and at least one of a plurality of membranes or a plurality of valves. The membranes and/or valves are coupled with the apertures. Each of the membranes is watertight and gas breathable. The valves are configured to prevent entry of water through the apertures. The active cooling system is in the housing. When activated, the active cooling system drives a gas through a membrane but does not drive water through the membrane.
