Thin film capacitor and circuit board incorporating the same
Disclosed herein is a thin film capacitor that includes a capacitive insulating film, a first metal film formed on one surface of the capacitive insulating film, and a second metal film formed on other surface of the capacitive insulating film and made of a metal material different from that of the first metal film. The thin film capacitor has an opening penetrating the capacitive insulating film, first metal film, and second metal film. The second metal film is thicker than the first metal film. A first size of a part of the opening that penetrates the first metal film is larger than a second size of a part of the opening that penetrates the second metal film.
ULTRATHIN AND FLEXIBLE DEVICES INCLUDING CIRCUIT DIES
Ultrathin and flexible electrical devices including circuit dies such as, for example, a capacitor chip, a resistor chip, and/or an inductor chip, and methods of making and using the same are provided. Circuit dies are attached to a major surface of a flexible substrate having channels Electrically conductive traces are formed in the channels, self-aligned with the circuit dies, and in direct contact with the bottom surface of the circuit dies.
COATING BY ALD FOR SUPPRESSING METALLIC WHISKERS
A deposition method includes depositing on a surface of a substrate a stack by an ALD (atomic layer deposition). Also provided is an ALD reactor for carrying out the method and products obtained using the deposition method.
THIN FILM CAPACITOR, CIRCUIT BOARD INCORPORATING THE SAME, AND THIN FILM CAPACITOR MANUFACTURING METHOD
Disclosed herein a thin film capacitor that includes a lower electrode layer, an upper electrode layer, and a dielectric layer disposed between the lower electrode layer and the upper electrode layer. The lower electrode layer includes a first metal layer positioned on a side facing the dielectric layer and a second metal layer positioned on a side facing away from the dielectric layer. The first metal layer has a first surface positioned on a side facing the second metal layer and a second surface positioned on a side facing the dielectric layer. The first surface has a surface roughness higher than that of the second surface. The second metal layer reflects a surface property of the first surface.
Transparent PCB and method for manufacturing the same
A transparent PCB includes a transparent base film, a hardened layer, an electrode film, a first conductive paste, a second conductive paste, and an electronic component. The hardened layer is formed on a side of the transparent base film. The electrode film is formed on a side of the hardened layer. The electrode film includes a first transparent conductive oxide layer, a metal layer, and a second transparent conductive oxide layer. The first conductive paste is formed on the electrode film. The second conductive paste is formed on the electrode film and spaced from the first conductive paste. The electronic component is electrically connected to the electrode film through the first conductive paste and the second conductive paste. The present invention also needs to provide a method for manufacturing the transparent PCB.
ELECTRONIC COMPONENT
Disclosed herein is an electronic component that includes a first conductive layer including a lower electrode and a first inductor pattern, a dielectric film that covers the lower electrode, an upper electrode laminated on the lower electrode through the dielectric film, an insulating layer that covers the first conductive layer, dielectric film, and upper electrode, and a second conductive layer formed on the insulating layer and including a second inductor pattern. The first and second inductor patterns are connected in parallel through via conductors penetrating the insulating layer.
CIRCUIT BOARD AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE THAT INCLUDES IT
A circuit board according to the present disclosure includes a substrate that is composed of a ceramic(s), and an electrically conductive layer that is positioned in contact with the substrate. The substrate includes a groove around the electrically conductive layer. Furthermore, an electronic device according to the present disclosure includes a circuit board with a configuration as described above, and an electronic component that is positioned on the electrically conductive layer.
CIRCUIT BOARD
A circuit board has a glass core in which a through hole is formed, and a conductor pattern is formed on an inner peripheral wall of the through hole and a surface of the glass core to form a circuit element including a solenoid coil element and a capacitor element. Accordingly, a low-cost and compact circuit board capable of supporting high-capacity communication for thin mobile communication devices such as smartphones can be provided. Since the circuit board can be electrically connected to at least one of the electronic components such as a switch, an amplifier, and a filter via one terminal, and can be electrically connected to a mother board via another terminal, it has integrated functions, and can be suitably used for thin mobile communication devices such as smartphones.
Insulating film and printed circuit board including the same
An insulating film includes an insulating layer and a surface bonding layer disposed on the insulating layer. The surface bonding layer includes a radical generation element and a coordinate bond element. In the surface bonding layer, a/b is 0.05 or more and 0.35 or less, in which a is an atom content of the coordinate bond element and b is an atom content of the radical generation element.
Flexible display device
A flexible display device that can suppress spread of cracks of an inorganic layer is provided. A flexible display device includes a flexible substrate including a display area and a periphery surrounding the display area, an inorganic layer formed on the flexible substrate, a display unit formed on the display area, and a thin film encapsulation layer covering the display unit. The inorganic layer includes an opening disposed on a periphery between edges of the flexible substrate and the thin film encapsulation layer.
