DISPENSING DEVICE
A dispensing device for release of a volatile material includes a base, a drive arm coupled to a pendulum based drive mechanism, and a refill coupled to the drive arm. The refill includes a support base, at least one flange, a substrate coupled with the at least one flange, and a use-up cue.
Mintey Mouse Systems
A mintey mouse system for discouragement of rodent occupation. The mintey mouse assembly has an outer container and an inner volume. The outer container may have a lid, airflow ventilation, and anti-tipping feet. The airflow ventilation may allow the essential oil liquid vapors to diffuse into the ambient atmosphere. The inner volume may be structured and arranged to house a bottle and a bottle receptacle. The bottle may have a volume structured and arranged for containing and controllably diffusing a quantity of the essential oil liquid therefrom. The essential oil liquid may be peppermint oil, useful as a rodent deterrent. The lid may provide an opening to access the inner volume for replacing and alternately removing the bottle for refilling with the essential oil liquid.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR VAPORIZING/DISCHARGING CHEMICAL AGENT
Provided is a chemical agent vaporizing/discharging device which can efficiently vaporize and discharge a chemical agent from a chemical agent retainer, and sufficiently diffuse the chemical agent, even when the device is used in a relatively large space or outdoors. A chemical agent vaporizing/discharging device 100 comprises: a chemical agent retainer 50 having a chemical agent retention layer 10 including interstices 11 for allowing retention of a volatile chemical agent, and a gas permeable layer 20 including voids 21 having a size larger than a size of the interstices 11; and a rotational drive part 60 for driving the chemical agent retainer 50. A shape and a size of the chemical agent retainer 50, and a rotational speed of the rotational drive part 60, are set so that a centrifugal effect of 10 to 150 (G) is obtained during rotation of the chemical agent retainer 50.
SUSTAINED-RELEASE PHEROMONE PREPARATION
Provided is a sustained-release pheromone preparation that can be easily installed and stably retained in an installation location, and is comprised of at least one pheromone substance-containing polymer tube with both ends sealed or pheromone substance-containing polymer rod, wherein (a) a closed space is formed in a front view by bending in an arc and crossing the tube or rod, and the preparation is not crossed in a side view; (b) a curvature radius established is 4 to 17 mm; (c) a linear distance from a top point of an arc to a crossover point is 25 to 70 mm; and (d) a repelling force when opening the crossover point to establish a clearance of 20 mm in the front view is 0.5 N or larger.
SUSTAINED-RELEASE PHEROMONE PREPARATION
Provided is a sustained-release pheromone preparation that can be easily installed and stably retained in an installation location, and is comprised of at least one pheromone substance-containing polymer tube with both ends sealed or pheromone substance-containing polymer rod, wherein (a) at least two closed spaces and an opening portion are formed in a front view by bending in an arc and crossing the tube or rod, and the preparation is not crossed in a side view; (b) a curvature radius established is 4 to 15 mm; (c) a linear distance from a top point of an arc to a crossover point that is closest to the top point is 10 to 50 mm; and (d) a repelling force when opening the crossover point that is closest to the arc to establish a clearance of 20 mm in the front view is 1.0 N or larger.
SOLID AIR FRESHENER
The present invention relates to a solid pressed air freshener and odor neutralizer composition which can include greater than 10% fragrance. The air freshener comprises a fragrance; preferably the fragrance is impregnated within a water soluble substrate made from a foamed vegetable starch, a surfactant and a solidifier. The solid formulations break down easily in the presence of water and may be sprayed, within the area to be freshened.
VOLATILE COMPOSITION DISPENSER WITH INCREASED MEMBRANE EXPOSURE AND VOLATILE COMPOSITION WEIGHT LOSS
A volatile composition dispenser includes a housing having opposing first and second walls that are joined along their peripheries to one another. The first wall has an aperture and the second wall has a plurality of apertures. Within the housing, rests a volatile composition cartridge and a gap, which exists between the cartridge and a bottom surface of the housing, wherein said bottom surface is formed from a joinder of a base portion of one or both of the first and second walls, and wherein, upon activation, the exposure percentage of the dispenser is from about 40% to about 90%; wherein at least about 60% of the total surface area of the plurality of apertures results from individual apertures of said plurality that each have an area of at least 30 mm.sup.2 and an aspect ratio of at least about 1:2. Dispenser of a similar housing, cartridge, and gap when is activated by a user and thirty days after said activation, exhibits about 70% to 90% weight loss of said volatile composition of a partially exposed membrane of a fully exposed membrane.
VOLATILE SUBSTANCE EVAPORATION DEVICE
The volatile substance evaporation device comprises a casing (1) provided with an evaporation surface (2), said casing (1) housing inside it a substrate (3) impregnated with said volatile substances, wherein said substrate (3) is a sheet which preferably comprises a plurality of grooves. It allows the device to have a similar diffusion value for a specific air flow and for a considerable internal temperature of the vehicle, thus ensuring continuous evaporation.
Insect control sheet
An insect control sheet containing a Cry polyhedron prepared by fixing an insecticidal protein (a Cry toxin) produced by Bacillus thuringiensis to a polyhedron of polyhedrin protein is provided. The insect control sheet contains the Cry polyhedron and is used by floating on water. The insect control sheet is floatable on water, and includes a pure matrix layer 20 and a toxin-containing matrix layer 30 containing the Cry polyhedron 51 which are layered on the underside of a sheet-shaped first sheet substrate 10. The pure matrix layer 20 is composed of a degradable or water-soluble second material and the toxin-containing matrix layer 30 is composed of a degradable or water-soluble third material and the Cry polyhedron. The toxin-containing matrix layer sustainably releases the Cry polyhedron to the water on which the insect control sheet is floated.
