A clasp hanger includes a hanger hook including an elongated part. The hanger hook has a hanger hook section and a neck section opposite the hook section. The neck section is expandable to allow the clasp hanger to be quickly hung on a support object such as a branch. The clasp hanger further includes an object attachment device attached to the neck section of the hanger hook. This object attachment device is configured for attaching an object such as one configured to dispense a chemical or formulation useful in pest management. The hanger hook, and object attachment device are disposed such that, after the support object is pushed through the neck, the hanger hook automatically rotates such that the support object is disposed at an interior part of the hanger hook that is away from the neck section. This prevents the support object from passing back through the neck section.

The present invention relates to a bracelet for the diffusion of volatile substances, comprising a strap (1) and a refill (2) impregnated with volatile substances, and is characterized in that the refill (2) comprises an outer surface (21) provided with at least one rib (3), defining at least one evaporation chamber (4).

The present invention provides a bracelet for the diffusion of volatile substances having a higher volatile substance evaporation rate, with the refill having a size that is suitable for use in a bracelet and being firmly secured on the strap, even in bracelets for children.

Provided herein are compositions and methods for repelling insects, such as bees. The compositions include herbs and can also include essential oil. The herbs can include garlic, cinnamon, black pepper, or mint, such as peppermint. The essential oils can include eucalyptus oil, cinnamon oil, cardamom oil and tea tree oil. Also provided are articles that include the compositions. Bees can be repelled without negatively impacting swarming behavior or hive health.

An emanating device includes a substrate with a body having a first portion and a second portion, a foldable member, and first and second hinges along a longitudinal axis of the body and connected to the foldable member. The foldable member is movable between a first state, such that the member is co-planar with the first portion and second portion, and a second state, such that the foldable member is not co-planar with the first portion and the second portion.

An air freshener has a rigidifying core defining a central axis, and an outer portion or sleeve contacting the core that is formed from one or more fragrance loaded polymers. Together, the core and outer portion are shaped to surround a first axis perpendicular to the central axis. The air freshener is made by injection molding a first shot of at least one polymer material to form the core, and injection molding a second shot of at least one polymer material incorporating one or more fragrance materials over or onto or into at least a portion of the core. The second shot of polymer material may be stretched about the portion of the core during injection molding, and may flow into a first hole formed in the core at or near the core distal end, and fills a second hole formed in the core at or near the core proximal end.

Dispensers for dispensing an insect control active include a porous substrate impregnated with an insect control active. The porous substrate has a minimal bending moment of about 150 to about 275 g-cm. Upon activation, the dispenser exhibits an effective release rate of the insect control active of about 0.1 to about 0.3 mg/hr.

A volatile substance evaporation element including a rod impregnated with volatile substances, the rod being made of sintered wood. The porosity of the rod varies between its core and its surface, the porosity of said rod being lower on its surface than in its core, making it possible to increase the capacity of the core of the evaporation element to act as a receptacle for volatile substances.

A volatile composition dispenser includes a housing having opposing first and second walls that are joined along their peripheries to one another. The first wall has an aperture and the second wall has a plurality of apertures. Within the housing, rests a volatile composition cartridge and a gap, which exists between the cartridge and a bottom surface of the housing, wherein said bottom surface is formed from a joinder of a base portion of one or both of the first and second walls, and wherein, upon activation, the exposure percentage of the dispenser is from about 40% to about 90%; wherein at least about 60% of the total surface area of the plurality of apertures results from individual apertures of said plurality that each have an area of at least 30 mm.sup.2 and an aspect ratio of at least about 1:2. Dispenser of a similar housing, cartridge, and gap when is activated by a user and thirty days after said activation, exhibits about 70% to 90% weight loss of said volatile composition of a partially exposed membrane of a fully exposed membrane.

A disinfestation article includes a base, external voids and internal voids formed in the base, pesticidal compound disposed in the external and internal voids. The pesticidal compound disposed in the external void being exposed to a surface of the base. The article may further comprise channels connecting one of the internal voids to one of the external voids. The pesticidal compound contains pesticidal particles selected from pyrethroid family or the like. Also claimed is a method of manufacturing which includes mixing pesticidal particles into a molten polymer material to form a mixture, injecting the mixture into a mold to form a molded part, and cooling the molded part to form said disinfestation article.
