Scent devices and methods are provided. In one embodiment, the present invention can be a device to scent an environment comprising a scent and a structural component. The scent stick can have a length to average cross-sectional diameter ratio of at least about 4:1 according to some embodiments. The scent stick can be colored to blend into an environmental setting to make the presence of the scent stick unobtrusive. The scent stick may also be attached or hung by the addition of a hanger or hoop. The scent stick may be hung from a tree, automobile mirror or a person as an adornment. Other embodiments are also described.

Air freshener

An air freshener has a rigidifying core defining a central axis, and an outer portion or sleeve contacting the core that is formed from one or more fragrance loaded polymers. Together, the core and outer portion are shaped to surround a first axis perpendicular to the central axis. The air freshener is made by injection molding a first shot of at least one polymer material to form the core, and injection molding a second shot of at least one polymer material incorporating one or more fragrance materials over or onto or into at least a portion of the core. The second shot of polymer material may be stretched about the portion of the core during injection molding, and may flow into a first hole formed in the core at or near the core distal end, and fills a second hole formed in the core at or near the core proximal end.

Disclosed is a volatile liquid dispensing system that includes a dispenser and a refill unit. The dispenser is mounted on a predefined surface. The dispenser includes a front cover and a rear cover. The refill unit is removably secured inside the dispenser thereby maintaining a predefined gap therebetween. The refill unit includes a refill cover. The refill cover includes a fragrance reservoir and a collection device enclosed therein. The fragrance reservoir is formed by a gas shell and a fragrance shell. The fragrance reservoir is positioned in a predefined orientation with respect to the mounting surface. The collection device is positioned adjacent to the fragrance reservoir such that a predefined gap is maintained therebetween. The collection device is enclosed in the refill cover such that a predefined gap is maintained therebetween thereby allowing evaporation of the volatile liquid from all sides of the collection device.

A sleeping mattress is then supported on the mattress panel. The support panel is supported above a supporting surface, for example the floor or a boxspring mattress, by a spacer frame. The support panel further includes a skirt member extending down from the perimeter edge of the support panel by a height of the spacer frame so that the bottom free edge of the skirt member is in close, non-contacting proximity to the supporting surface. Treatment chemicals may optionally be provided in the space below the main support panel which is defined by the spacer frame mounted between the supporting surface and the main support panel.
