An electronic apparatus includes a wiring board. The wiring board includes a wiring and a through-hole and is provided by dividing a multi-board providing board into the wiring board. The electronic apparatus further includes a circuit component having a surface mounting structure, mounted to the wiring board, and electrically connected to the wiring. A side wall of the wiring board has a cut portion that is provided when cutting and dividing the multi-board providing board. In the wiring board, the through-hole is formed adjacent to the cut portion without arranging the circuit component between the cut portion and the through-hole.
Press-fit rework method
A press-fit insertion method is provided. The press-fit insertion method includes loading press-fit pins into a connector, heating a printed circuit board (PCB) defining plated through holes (PTHs) into which the press-fit pins are insertable and pressing the connector onto the PCB to insert the press-fit pins into the PTHs with the PCB remaining heated.
Conductive terminal with clamping portion and connector assembly using the same
A conductive terminal electrically connects a conductor of a conductive wire to a circuit board. The conductive terminal includes a body, a clamping portion having a pair of clamping arms, and a solder portion having a pair of solder lugs. The body has an opening through which the conductive wire is inserted and a passage communicating with the opening, the passage receiving the conductive wire and extending perpendicular to a surface of the circuit board. The pair of clamping arms extend from the opening towards the circuit board and obliquely towards each other so as to clamp the conductor of the conductive wire inserted through the opening. The solder portion has a pair of solder lugs extending perpendicular to a lengthwise direction of the passage and soldered to a pair of solder pads on the circuit board.
Assembly With A Stack Of Sheet Metal Joined From At Least Three Superimposed Layers Of Sheet Metal
An assembly includes at least three layers of sheet metal lying directly on top of one another and joined in a stack of sheet metal. The layers of sheet metal are each joined in pairs by a clinching joint. At least one layer of sheet metal arranged between one of the pairs of layers of sheet metal joined by the clinching joint and an outer side of the stack each have an access opening aligned with the clinching joint.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR AND CIRCUIT BOARD USED IN THE CONNECTOR
An electrical connector includes a terminal module having a circuit board having first through eighth conductive traces sequentially arranged in a transverse direction and corresponding first through eighth terminals, the third terminal and the sixth terminal being configured for transmitting a pair of differential signals, the fourth terminal and the fifth terminal being configured for transmitting another pair of differential signals, the first through eighth conductive traces being respectively electrically connected to corresponding first through eighth terminals, each of the third conductive trace and the fifth conductive trace including a coupling portion, a size of the coupling portion in the transverse direction is larger than a size of the other part of the corresponding conductive trace in the transverse direction, wherein the coupling portion of the third conductive trace and the coupling portion of the fifth conductive trace overlap in an up and down direction to increase mutual coupling.
