HIGH DENSITY SHIELDED ELECTRICAL CABLE AND OTHER SHIELDED CABLES, SYSTEMS, AND METHODS
A shielded electrical ribbon cable includes adjacent first and second longitudinal conductor sets where each conductor set includes two or more insulated conductors. The first conductor set also includes a ground conductor that generally lies in the plane of the insulated conductors of the first conductor set. At least 90% of the periphery of each conductor set is encompassed by a shielding film. First and second non-conductive polymeric films are disposed on opposite sides of the cable and form cover portions substantially surrounding each conductor set, and pinched portions on each side of each conductor set. When the cable is laid flat, the distance between the center of the ground conductor of the first conductor set and the center of the nearest insulated conductor of the second conductor set is ?1, the center-to-center spacing of the insulated conductors of the second conductor set is ?2, and ?1/?2 is greater than 0.7.
Cable for high speed data communications
A cable for high speed data communications is provided. The cable includes a first inner conductor enclosed by a first dielectric layer and a second inner conductor enclosed by a second dielectric layer. The first inner conductor is substantially parallel to the second inner conductor and to a longitudinal axis. The cable includes a conductive shield wrapped around the first and second inner conductors, with an overlap of the conductive shield along and about the longitudinal axis. The overlap is aligned with a low current plane. The low current plane is substantially parallel to the first and second inner conductors, substantially equidistant from the first and second inner conductors, and substantially orthogonal to a plane including the first and second inner conductors.

An electrical connection system configured to terminate electrical connectors and to transmit digital electrical signals having a data transfer rate of 5 Gigabits per second (Gb/s) or higher. A flat shielded cable includes conductors arranged in parallel, an insulating jacket section that covers the conductors and has an exposed conductor section which exposes a part of at least one of the conductors, and a shielding member that covers the jacket section. The conductor is electrically connected to the shielding member via the exposed conductor section. The shielding member has a first layer made of shielding material and a second layer made of binder resin containing metal filler. A D90 particle diameter of the metal filler is 6 m and a difference between a D10 particle diameter and a D95 particle diameter of the metal filler is 6 m or more, and the metal filler is contained in the second layer in an amount of 65 wt % or more.

A multi-core cable includes n conductor bundles.

The cable includes a power wire, a signal wire, a ground wire, a wrapping layer, a coaxial wire, and a protective layer. The signal wire is used to transmit a low-speed signal. The coaxial wire is used to transmit a high-speed signal. The power wire, the signal wire, and the ground wire are wrapped in the wrapping layer. The coaxial wire is on an outer side of the wrapping layer. The wrapping layer and the coaxial wire are wrapped in the protective layer.
