PUSH-PULL SOLENOID
A push-pull solenoid is provided with a cylindrical guide member that is fixed to a case. A circular outer peripheral surface of a plunger is in contact with a friction guide surface formed on a circular inner peripheral surface of the guide member, and slides along the friction guide surface. Frictional force due to contact with the friction guide surface is always acting on the plunger, so it is possible to suppress impact-like contact of the plunger with an object to be manipulated during suctioning, and vibration and noise caused thereby. Moreover, over-recovery and falling-out of the plunger after suction is released can also be prevented.
SOLENOID
A solenoid driving a shaft in a direction along a central axis includes a coil that generates magnetic flux and a magnetic container that accommodates the coil. The container has a side surface portion and a bottom portion. A plunger arranged inside the coil and sliding in a direction along the central axis to move the shaft, and a stator core are provided. The stator core has a plunger accommodating portion and a shaft accommodating portion that accommodates the shaft and attracts the plunger. The plunger accommodating portion has a cylindrical core portion that accommodates the plunger inside, and a flange portion that is provided radially outward at an end of the core portion on the bottom portion side and is welded to the bottom portion of the container. A ring core provided on the opposite side of the shaft accommodating portion to the plunger accommodating portion is provided.
A Single Solenoid Based Double Actuator Device
A single solenoid based double actuator device 100 is disclosed having a first actuator 106 configured for linear movement between actuated and dropped positions along an axis of a winding 102 and biased towards dropped position, and a second actuator 120 arranged spaced apart from the first actuator 106 for linear movement between actuated and dropped positions and biased towards dropped position. A pair of magnetic paths, an upper magnetic path 130, and a lower magnetic path 132, is provided at two ends of the actuators such that first actuator, upper plate 130, second actuator 120 and lower plate 132 provide a magnetic path for a magnetic field generated on passing a current through the winding 102. On passing a current exceeding a first current value, through the winding, one of the actuators is actuated, and on the current exceeding a second current value, other actuator is also actuated.
Electromagnetic actuator and electrical switching unit including this actuator
An electromagnetic actuator includes a fixed body, a moving part forming a magnetic core of the actuator and being movable in translation with respect to the fixed body between a retracted position and a deployed position, a magnetic piece forming a permanent magnet adjusted to generate a first magnetic force holding the moving part in the retracted position, and a coil adjusted to engender a second magnetic force opposed to the first magnetic force when the coil is supplied with an electrical excitation current. The moving part includes one or more notches formed in a body of the moving part.
SOLENOID, DAMPING FORCE ADJUSTMENT MECHANISM, AND DAMPING FORCE ADJUSTABLE SHOCK ABSORBER
A molded coil includes a bobbin, a coil, and an exterior member. The coil is wound around the bobbin, and generates a magnetic force in reaction to power supply. The exterior member covers the coil and the bobbin therewith. Two seams, a first seam and a second seam are provided between the bobbin and the exterior member. A first seal member is disposed on an upstream side of the first seam and between a cover member and the exterior member. A second seal member is disposed on an upstream side of the second scam and between a flange portion of a stator core main body and the exterior member.
A CHANNEL SEGMENT FOR A TRACK OF A MOVER DEVICE
A channel segment for a track of a mover device is provided, the channel segment comprising: opposite ends joined by a body forming a magnetic flux pathway between the opposite ends, the magnetic flux pathway being one or more of C-shaped, U-shaped and horseshoe shaped between the opposite ends, the opposite ends forming respective transverse magnetic flux pathways about perpendicular to the magnetic flux pathway; laminations of ferromagnetic material forming the body, the laminations about parallel to the magnetic flux pathway and about perpendicular to the respective transverse magnetic flux pathways; shear pins through the laminations, the shear pins positioned to reduce eddy currents one or more of in and around the shear pins; and a retention mechanism at the opposite ends, the retention mechanism configured to transversely fasten the laminations together at the opposite ends while remaining insulated from each other.
Electromagnetic actuator and vibration generator including the same
An electromagnetic actuator including a coil; a non-movable part constituted by a magnetic substance and disposed on one side relative to the coil; and a movable part including a permanent magnet on the other side relative to the coil. Applying a current to the coil alternately generates first and third driving forces to move the magnet and the movable part to one and the other sides in a first direction relative to the coil and the non-movable part. As the movable part moves from a neutral position to the one side in the first direction, a portion of the magnet positioned on the one side in the first direction relative to the first end of the first non-movable part gradually enlarges and is magnetically attracted toward the non-movable part. As the movable part moves from the neutral position to the other side in the first direction, a portion of the magnet positioned on the other side in the first direction relative to the second end of the first non-movable part gradually enlarges and is magnetically attracted toward the non-movable part.
EDGE-COMPRESSED TILTING ARMATURE FOR A VEHICLE SOLENOID VALVE
A tilting armature for a vehicle solenoid valve, including: a ferromagnetic tilting armature for the vehicle solenoid valve which, by establishment of a magnetic field, is configured to move the tilting armature into one of two positions such that a magnetic flux, associated with the magnetic field, through the tilting armature is in the position conducted through at least one surface of the tilting armature across a gap to form a closed flux loop, wherein the tilting armature is tiltable between the two positions about an axis of rotation that is fixed with respect to the vehicle solenoid valve; in which an enlargement of the at least one surface of the tilting armature by an edge upset of the tilting armature is configured to reduce a magnetic resistance through the gap. Also described are a related vehicle solenoid valve and a related method.
