Switching device
A switching device for breaking an electric current including a main contact carrier, movable and stationary main contacts, the movable contact attached to the main contact carrier, an arcing contact carrier, a movable and stationary arcing contacts, the movable arcing contact attached to the arcing contact carrier and the stationary arcing contact arranged in parallel with the stationary main contact, and an actuating unit for the main and arcing contact carriers between open and close position at an actuating distance, wherein there are separation distances between the stationary and movable contacts of the main and arcing contact units respectively when the current is interrupted. The switching device further includes a first rack and a first gear for actuating the arcing contact carrier so that, when interrupting the current, a separation distance between the arcing contacts is longer than a separation distance between the main contacts.
Switching assemblies with integral handle and rotor and methods of assembly
An electrical switching assembly. The electrical switching assembly includes an integral handle and rotor unit including an integral rotor portion and a handle portion. The rotor portion is configured to receive one or more conductors and is configured to be received in a line base. Assembly methods for electrical switching assemblies are provided, as are other aspects.
VEHICLE CONTROL PANEL COMPRISING A SWITCH
The present invention relates to a vehicle control panel comprising a switch cap comprising electrical connection pads arranged on a side of the switch cap, and an electric circuit printed on an inside surface of the switch cap associated with selecting a state of the function. A panel member has an opening in which the switch cap is pivotally and releasably attached. The panel member has electrical circuit closing members attached on an inner surface of the panel member. Pairs of the electrical connection pads are adapted to coincide and make contact with a respective one of the electrical circuit closing members to close an electric circuit portion in the switch cap such that an external electrical circuitry operates the function.
DOUBLE THROW SWITCH OPERATING MECHANISM
A switching mechanism includes an actuator rotatable between an off position and an on position; and a timing disc assembly that includes an actuator disc, a bias disc, and a switch disc arranged in a stack. The actuator disc is rotatably connected to the actuator. The bias disc is connected to at least one biasing mechanism. The switch disc is connected to a switch. The actuator disc is configured to engage the bias disc such that the actuator disc is configured to rotate the bias disc to an overcenter position of the at least one biasing mechanism. The overcenter position of the at least one biasing mechanism is configured to rotate the bias disc such that engagement between the bias disc and the switch disc is configured to rotate the switch disc between a closed position and an open position of the switch.
Switching device with a suspended mobile contact assembly
The present application contemplates a switching device comprising: an outer casing defining an internal volume of the switching device; one or more electric poles, each electric pole comprising one or more mobile contacts and one or more contacts adapted to be coupled or uncoupled during a switching operation of the switching device; a contact shaft accommodated in the internal volume of the switching device and adapted to rotate about a rotation axis during a switching operation of the switching device, the contact shaft having a body comprising one or more contact seats to accommodate at least partially the mobile contacts, so that the mobile contacts rotate with the contact shaft about the rotation axis during a switching operation of the switching device; a control mechanism comprising a supporting frame fixed to the outer casing to provide support to movable members of the control mechanism and one or more connecting rods to provide a force to move the contact shaft during a switching operation of the switching device.
ARC CHUTE AND LOAD SWITCH COMPRISING SAME
The present invention provides an arc chute, which can be provided to make close contact with a curved frame part, and a load switch comprising same, the arc chute comprising: two cover parts, which are arranged to be adjacent to the outer circumference of a frame part, are spaced apart from each other, and overlap each other in the axial direction of the frame part; and an arc grid which is arranged between the two cover parts so as to be coupled to each of the two cover parts, wherein the cover part is formed in a shape in which one side coming into contact with the outer circumference of the frame part corresponds to the outer circumference of the frame part.
DC electrical circuit breaker
A DC electrical circuit breaker includes first and second movable electrical contacts. The circuit breaker includes a magnetic circuit including a magnet and generating a magnetic field able to guide an electrical arc in the direction of a quenching chamber, and having for this purpose curved field lines extending perpendicularly to opposite lateral walls of an electrical arc formation chamber, these field lines converging, in a central region of the arc formation chamber containing the contact zones, toward the quenching chamber while extending parallel to the longitudinal plane.
