A high-voltage battery for a motor vehicle having at least one storage element for electrical energy, at least one control unit operating at a voltage lower than the high voltage. A modular unit including at least one switching mechanism and/or at least one fuse as electrical components, wherein the modular unit is attached in a pre-determined position to a housing, externally to this housing that holds the storage element and the control unit, in such a way that when the modular unit is plugged in on the housing, at least two high-voltage contacts of the modular unit, which are connected to at least one of the electrical components of the modular unit, are connected in an electrically conducting manner to assigned high-voltage contacts on the housing side, and at least one contact arrangement of the modular unit.
LOW PROFILE INTEGRATED FUSE MODULE
A fuse module including a mounting block formed of an electrically insulating material, the mounting block including a rear wall extending from a base, a fuse plate including an electrically conductive bus bar disposed on a bottom of the base, a fusible element electrically connected to the bus bar and disposed adjacent a rear of the rear wall, and a fuse terminal electrically connected to the fusible element and extending over a top of the rear wall, along a front of the rear wall, and onto a top of the base, the fuse module further including an electrically conductive terminal post extending from the top of the base through the fuse terminal for facilitating connection to an electrical component.
ACTIVE/PASSIVE AUTOMOTIVE FUSE MODULE
An exemplary embodiment of active/passive automotive fuse module in accordance with the present disclosure may include an electrically insulating base, a fuse plate including a bus bar portion disposed on a top surface of the base above a projectile cavity formed in the base, the fuse plate further including a fusible portion electrically connected to the bus bar portion and adapted to open when an amount of current flowing through the fuse plate exceeds a current rating of the active/passive automotive fuse module, the active/passive automotive fuse module further including a pyrotechnic interrupter (PI) disposed atop the base and including a projectile positioned above the bus bar portion, the PI configured to drive the projectile through the bus bar portion upon actuation of the PI.

The invention relates to a circuit board arrangement for electrical separation of leads, comprising a fuse board configured to hold an electrical fuse, wherein the fuse board has electrical leads and openings formed between adjacent electrical leads; and comprising an insulating member configured to receive the fuse board, wherein the insulating member has separators, wherein the separators are configured to insert into the openings and electrically separate the leads.
Electrical connection box with dark current circuit connection/disconnection structure
Provided is an electrical connection box that is equipped with a newly constructed dark current circuit connection/disconnection mechanism that can be used to change circuits of the dark current circuit connection/disconnection mechanism and improve versatility. A conduction member holder has a conduction member holding portion that extends spanning over a plurality of cavities that are provided in a case. A conduction member includes: a first conduction member that is connected to a connection terminal of a dark current circuit housed in one of the cavities; and a second conduction member that is connected simultaneously to the connection terminal of the dark current circuits housed in one of the cavities and a connection terminal of another circuit housed in another cavity. The first conduction member or the second conduction member that is selected according to a required circuit configuration is mounted in the conduction member holding portion.
Overcurrent protection device holder
An overcurrent protection device for distributing power to a component. A cartridge may removeably receiving a TPA fuse. The cartridge may include a power input terminal and a power output terminal. When the cartridge is removeably received by a power distribution panel the power input terminal may directly couple to a power input connection of the power distribution panel and the power output terminal may directly couple to a power output connection of the power distribution panel. The directly coupled power input terminal and power output terminal being void of an intermediate busbar arranged between the cartridge and the power distribution panel.
Vehicle accessory power switch
An electrical switch for providing power from a power source to a component may include a voltage supervisor having an input and an output, a voltage divider, electrically coupled between the input of the voltage supervisor and ground, an RC filter electrically coupled to the output of the voltage supervisor, and a field-effect transistor having a first terminal coupled to the RC filter and a second terminal coupled to an output of the switch, the output configured to be electrically coupled to the component. A switch may additionally or alternatively include a light source electrically that emits light when power is provided from the input of the switch to the component, the light source arranged proximate a fuse so as to illuminate the fuse.
ELECTRIC CONNECTION BOX
An electric connection box includes a housing, a first lid portion, a groove, and a protrusion. The housing includes an opening. The first lid portion includes a first body wall that closes the opening of the housing and a first peripheral wall extending from a periphery of the first body wall toward the housing. The groove is provided between the first peripheral wall and a wall portion arranged to be spaced apart from the first peripheral wall. The groove includes an opening in a side of the first body wall in an extending direction of the first peripheral wall. The protrusion is provided on the first lid portion and protruding toward the wall portion. The protrusion covers the opening of the groove.

A fuse module including a mounting block formed of an electrically insulating material, a fuse plate including a fusible element disposed on a bottom surface of the mounting block, an input terminal electrically connected to the fusible element and extending along rear and top surfaces of the mounting block, and a fuse terminal electrically connected to the fusible element and extending from a front surface of the mounting block, the fuse module further including an electrically conductive terminal post extending from the top surface of the mounting block through the fuse terminal for facilitating connection to an electrical component.
Dark-current-circuit interruption structure and electrical junction box including same
Provided is a novel dark-current-circuit interruption structure that can stably maintain the state of engagement of an engaging portion of a conductive component holder with an engaged portion of a case, while reducing the size of the case, and an electrical junction box including the same. A conductive component is formed by a plate metal fitting, a conductive component holder 48 includes elastic projecting pieces and engaging portions that are provided on each of a pair of side walls that are opposingly positioned with a gap between the plate metal fitting and each of the side walls, and the case includes engaged portions with which the engaging portions are to be engaged. When attaching the conductive component holder to the case, the engaging portions and the engaged portions are configured to come into contact with each other to cause the elastic projecting pieces 68 and 76 to elastically deform.
