A measuring device is provided. The measuring device includes a base substrate, sensor electrodes, a temperature sensor, a high frequency oscillator, C/V conversion circuits for generating voltage signals corresponding to electrostatic capacitances of the sensor electrodes, an A/D converter for converting the voltage signals to digital values, a calculation unit for calculating measurement values indicating the electrostatic capacitances based on the digital values, and phase control circuits connected between the sensor electrodes and the high-frequency oscillator. Each of the conversion circuits includes an operational amplifier, and the high-frequency oscillator is connected to a non-inverting input terminal of the amplifier and is connected to an inverting input terminal thereof through a corresponding phase control circuit. The calculation unit stores parameters for setting admittances of the phase control circuits in association with temperatures and adjusts the admittances of the phase control circuits using a parameter associated with a detected temperature.

A suspended transport vehicle travels along a track supported by a ceiling and transfers an article to a shelf of a rack installed on a floor, the suspended transport vehicle has a driving part, a first traveling part and a second traveling part, a ceiling-side member that is suspended downwards from the first traveling part and the second traveling part and has a transferring part that transfers the article to the shelf of the rack, a floor-side member that is provided so as to be capable of relative movement with respect to the ceiling-side member and has travel rollers being contacting parts in contact with a first guide part installed on the floor, and a distance sensor that detects a relative distance between the ceiling-side member and the floor-side member.
METHOD FOR OPERATING CONVEYING SYSTEM
A method for operating a conveying system is provided. An overhead hoist transport (OHT) vehicle is provided, wherein the OHT vehicle includes a gripping member configured to grip and hold a carrier, and a receiver configured to receive a signal. The signal is transmitted to the receiver of the OHT vehicle. The OHT vehicle is moved toward the carrier, and the carrier is gripped by the gripping member of the OHT vehicle. A lifting force is determined based on a weight of a carrier, a number of workpieces in the carrier, or a vertical distance between the OHT vehicle and the carrier, and the lifting force is applied to the carrier.
DISPLACEMENT MEASUREMENTS IN SEMICONDUCTOR WAFER PROCESSING
Wafers that begin as flat surfaces during a semiconductor manufacturing process may become warped or bowed as layers and features are added to an underlying substrate. This warpage may be detected between manufacturing processes by rotating the wafer adjacent to a displacement sensor. The displacement sensor may generate displacement data relative to a baseline measurement to identify areas of the wafer that bow up or down. The displacement data may then be mapped to locations on the wafer relative to an alignment feature. This mapping may then be used to adjust parameters in subsequent semiconductor processes, including adjusting how a carrier head on a polishing process holds or applies pressure to the wafer as it is polished. A model may be trained to provide control signals for a polishing/cleaning process, or to generate metrology data.
