SOLAR CELL IN STACK STRUCTURE HAVING NO STEP
A solar cell in a stack structure having no step may include a solar cell, and an electrode formed on one surface of the solar cell, in which the solar cell is/are stacked on a center portion of a substrate with the electrode interposed therebetween, and the electrode is/are in contact with an electrode line coated on an edge portion of the substrate.
PHOTOVOLTAIC MODULE
A photovoltaic module includes a solar cell module including multiple solar cells, and first and second conductive lines connected respectively to first and second solar cells among the solar cells, and a junction box attached to the solar cell module. The junction box includes a power conversion unit including a capacitor unit located between the first and second conductive lines, a converter unit to change the level of a DC voltage at opposite ends of the capacitor unit and to output the DC voltage, and a controller to control the converter unit. When shading occurs in some of the solar cells, the power conversion unit supplies a second current, the level of which is lower than the level of a first current supplied before shading occurs, whereby the possibility of generation of a hot spot may be reduced despite the absence of bypass diodes when shading occurs.
Solar panel module
A solar panel module including a cover, a back plate, at least two solar panels, and at least a dark insulating layer is provided. The solar panels are configured between the cover and the back plate and arranged along a direction. There is a separating gap of a width arranged between the two adjacent solar panels. In addition, the dark insulating layer is disposed in the separating gap.
SOLAR BATTERY MODULE, METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SAME, AND CONSTRUCTION-USE EXTERIOR WALL MATERIAL USING SAME
To provide a solar cell module excellent in design property and weather resistance, a method for producing it, and a building exterior wall material using it.
The solar cell module of the present invention comprises, from the light-receiving surface side of the solar cell module, a cover glass, a first encapsulant layer, a design layer, a second encapsulant layer and solar cells in this order, the first encapsulant layer contains an ultraviolet absorber, the first encapsulant layer has a thickness of from 50 to 2,000 μm, and the design layer contains a fluororesin.
GLASS BRICK WITH LUMINESCENT SOLAR CONCENTRATOR FOR PRODUCTION OF ELECTRICAL ENERGY
A glass brick having a luminescent solar concentrator inserted inside it, between the preformed glass portions which constitute the body of the glass brick is provided.
Semi-transparent solar panel apparatus
A semi-transparent solar panel apparatus for allowing light to pass through solar panels onto crops to maximize solar collection areas includes a plurality of cell columns comprising a plurality of solar cells. Each cell column has a space between the adjacent cell columns to allow light to pass therethrough. A pair of encapsulant sheets is coupled together on either side of the plurality of cell columns to maintain the arrangement of the cell columns. A bottom frame is coupled to the pair of encapsulant sheets. The pair of encapsulant sheets is coupled to a bottom horizontal portion within a bottom vertical portion. A top frame is coupled to the bottom frame with a top vertical portion coupled to the bottom vertical portion of the bottom frame to seal the pair of encapsulant sheets between a top horizontal portion and the bottom horizontal portion.
SOLAR CELL MODULE HAVING EXCELLENT VISIBILITY
Provided, according to the present invention, is a solar cell module having excellent visibility, the solar cell module comprising: a transparent substrate; and a solar cell which is installed inside the transparent substrate and converts sunlight into photoelectricity, wherein the solar cell is installed so as to be horizontally arrayed in the transparent substrate.
Sunroof for a motor vehicle
The invention relates to a sunroof for a motor vehicle including two glass sheets (1, 3) joined together by a thermoplastic insert (2), wherein the sheet (1) directed toward the outside is annealed, and the sheet (3) directed toward the inside is made of tempered glass, the total thickness of the glass sheets being no greater than 5 mm, and preferably no greater than 4.5 mm.
HOT MELT COMPOSITION IN THE FORM OF A FILM FOR USE IN THIN FILM PHOTOVOLTAIC MODULES
The invention features a hot melt composition in the form of a film including from 40% by weight to 80% by weight of a non-functionalized alkyl acrylate, from 14% by weight to 50% by weight of an olefin polymer, from 2% by weight to 15% by weight of a first functionalized polymer comprising a functional group selected from the group consisting of epoxides and carboxylic anhydrides, and from 2% by weight to 15% by weight of a second functionalized polymer comprising a functional group capable of reacting with the functional group of the first functionalized polymer.
The hot melt composition in the form of a film has found utility as an encapsulant for thin film photovoltaic modules.
