CLOVE-CONTAINING AEROSOL-GENERATING SUBSTRATE
An aerosol-generating article is provided, including an aerosol-generating substrate including homogenised plant material formed of particulate plant material, the particulate plant material including between 10 percent and 40 percent by weight clove particles and between 60 percent and 90 percent by weight tobacco particles, based on dry weight of the particulate plant material, and the homogenised plant material further including an aerosol former and a binder. An aerosol-generating system is also provided, including an aerosol-generating device including a heating element; and the aerosol-generating article. A method is also provided for making one or more sheets of the homogenised plant material of aerosol-generating substrate of the aerosol-generating article.
UNEXPECTEDLY ENHANCED PIGMENTS COMPOSITIONS AND PROCESSES
Better than expected or empirically predicted odorant blends which contain one or more pigments, where the pigment influences the perceived identity of the odorants origin, such as an origin that is apple, lime, or grape, or where the pigment influences the preference for or nature of the perceived aroma, or influences an odor-associated flavor that may be evoked by the odorant, such as that of fruitiness, sweetness, sourness, or bitterness.
Solution comprising nicotine in unprotonated form and protonated form
There is provided a nicotine solution, including a carrier; nicotine in unprotonated form and in protonated form; and one or more acids, wherein at least benzoic acid, levulinic acid or a mixture thereof is present; and wherein the total content of acid present in the solution is no greater than 0.6 mole equivalents based on the nicotine.
ORAL PRODUCTS WITH IMPROVED BINDING OF ACTIVE INGREDIENTS
The disclosure provides products configured for oral use, the products including compositions comprising a filler component including negatively charged groups and an active ingredient including positively charged groups. The active ingredient can be retained by the filler component at least in part through bonding between the negatively charged groups and the positively charged groups such that active ingredient may be release from the product when positioned within an oral cavity of a consumer.
ORAL PRODUCT WITH MULTIPLE FLAVORANTS
The disclosure provides oral compositions and products formed therewith. Such compositions and products may include a first content of a flavor component having a first release rate and a second content of a flavor component having a second, different release rate. The disclosure further provides methods of preparing compositions and products for oral use. Such methods may include spray-drying a liquid flavor component to form particles of the liquid flavor component and mixing the particles of the liquid flavor component with a long-chain carbohydrate. Such methods also may include combining a content of a first flavor component, a content of a second flavor component, and a filler to form a composition suitable for insertion into an oral cavity. The compositions may be formed such that the first flavor component has a first release profile, and the second flavor component has a second, different release profile.
ORAL PRODUCT
The disclosure provides products configured for oral use and a process for preparing such oral products. The products include a cellulose material selected from the group consisting of maize fiber, oat fiber, barley fiber, rye fiber, buckwheat fiber, sugar beet fiber, bran fiber, bamboo fiber, wood pulp fiber, cotton fiber, citrus pulp fiber, grass fiber, willow fiber, poplar fiber, cocoa fiber, derivatives thereof, and combinations thereof; and a cannabinoid.
ORAL PRODUCT
The disclosure provides products configured for oral use and a process for preparing such oral products. The products include a cannabinoid, a filler, and water. The water content of the oral product is at least about 10% by weight of the oral product, and the water activity of the oral product is no greater than about 0.85.
ORAL PRODUCTS WITH ACTIVE INGREDIENT COMBINATIONS
Compositions configured for oral use, the compositions including at least one active ingredient selected from caffeine, taurine, GABA, theanine, tryptophan, vitamin B6, vitamin B12, vitamin C, lemon balm extract, ginseng, citicoline, sunflower lecithin, or combinations thereof, are provided. The compositions include one or more fillers, including a sugar alcohol, and optionally, a lipid or binder. The compositions may be in chewable, tablet, or meltable forms.
METHOD OF MAKING A TOBACCO EXTRACT
Embodiments described herein provide a method of making a tobacco extract comprising; (a) contacting tobacco with an extraction solvent in a first chamber such that tobacco components are extracted from the tobacco into the extraction solvent, wherein the extraction solvent is a supercritical fluid in the first chamber; (b) passing the extraction solvent containing tobacco components along a line towards a second chamber, wherein a valve is present in the line and the conditions downstream of the valve are such that the extraction solvent is subcritical; and (c) pumping entrapment solvent into a flow downstream of the valve, wherein the tobacco components are released from the extraction solvent by transfer to subcritical conditions and are dissolved in the entrapment solvent, whereby the tobacco components dissolved in entrapment solvent are collected in the second chamber.
HEAT-NOT-BURN TOBACCO MATRIX FOR PREVENTING CUT TOBACCO FROM FALLING AND APPLICATION THEREOF
The present invention provides a heat-not-burn tobacco matrix for preventing cut tobacco from falling and an application thereof. The tobacco matrix is formed by disorderly mixing expanded cut tobacco, formula leaf group cut tobacco and/or a tobacco sheet and then rolling, and a density of the tobacco matrix is 0.25 g/cm.sup.3 to 0.70 g/cm.sup.3.
