A device for coupling a limb guard to a human limb includes a support sleeve configured to wrap around the limb. The support sleeve includes a friction pad configured to cushion the limb and oppose translational and rotational displacement of the device relative to the limb. The support sleeve provides a stable attachment surface for a joint guard and/or limb guard and may be worn without discomfort for extended periods, remaining stationary relative to the limb while a person wearing the device moves about.

The present invention relates to a functional uniform for preventing foreign matters from being introduced therein, while a wearer is playing sports, and the uniform, which is separated into a top and a bottom, includes: the top having a non-exposed lower part having side slits and an exposed upper part having no side slits, the non-exposed part having a back surface portion located on the back side thereof with respect to the side slits in such a manner as to be inserted into the bottom at the time when the uniform is worn and a front surface portion located on the front side thereof with respect to the side slits in such a manner as to be disposed on the outside of the bottom at the time when the uniform is worn, the front surface portion having at least two or more pulling slots formed long in up and down directions on the upper side thereof in such a manner as to pull out belt loops disposed on the bottom toward the outside of the top and first fixing members disposed on the lower side thereof under the pulling slots, and the bottom having second fixing members disposed thereon in such a manner as to correspond to the first fixing members, wherein in a state where the lower side of the front surface portion of the top under the pulling slots is folded, the first fixing members are fastened or attached to the second fixing members of the bottom, so that the lower side of the front surface portion is fixed to the bottom.

The present invention relates to a novel protective shirt device. The device is a protective undershirt to be worn during contact sports like baseball, softball, or even hockey. A core function of the device during wear is the protection of soft tissue, bone, and organs by providing designated areas of protection. The protective shirt device comprises a shirt component with a plurality of protection areas positioned in designated areas on the shirt component. Further, the shirt component comprises a torso section, a neck opening, and two sleeve components. Padding components are secured to the plurality of protection areas to absorb the impact of a pitch or line drive. Further, each protection area is independent of the other areas, allowing free range of motion and expansion of the muscle groups.

A side opening vest includes a front panel and a back panel that are connected by shoulder straps and that are spaced apart from each other defining a left side gap and a right side gap. Straps extend from the back panel across the gaps for connection with the front panel. The front panel has engagement areas for receiving the straps to connect the front and back panels of the garment. Apparatus for protecting against injury to the human body. The garment may protect against hip, tailbone, and/or spinal cord injury. The garment may have a waist belt with depending hip pads releasably secured to the legs. Also, a torso strap may extend upwardly from the waist belt with additional padding. The torso strap may be Y-shaped.

Protective components may include a plate element and a cushioning element that are secured together with a hook-and-loop fastening system. The cushioning element may include a pair of material layers and a pad or a plurality of pad components located between the material layers. The plate element may include a polymer material and the pad may include a polymer foam material.

The leg guard for protecting at least a shin of a wearer includes a shin guard body and a strap. A peripheral edge of the shin guard body defines part of a perimeter of the shin guard body. The shin guard body includes a first coupling base and a second coupling base disposed on one of the interior and exterior surfaces. A first coupler is disposed at a first end of the strap and is releasably attachable to the first coupling base at a plurality of first attachment points, and a second coupler is disposed at the second end of the strap and is releasably attachable to the second coupling base at one of a plurality of second attachment points. A shin guard includes a protective plate having a front face and a rear face. The rear face is contoured to fit around a shin of a wearer of the shin guard. Further, the shin guard includes a three dimensional image element carried on the front face. This image element projects an image outline through a sock worn over the shin guard. A sports pad is provided including an outer shell defining a pocket and a pad received and held in the pocket. A three dimensional image element is captured between said outer shell and the front face of the pad. That image element projects an image outline through the outer shell to enhance the uniform of the player wearing the sports pad.
