Disclosed is an article for protection of the tibia and/or the foot composed of a sock including at least one pouch and at least one pad removably positioned in the pouch; the article is remarkable in that the pouch is fixed to the inside of the sock and in that the pad is composed of a flexible and flat part including a layer obtained from a viscoelastic material and at least one layer made of fabric fixed to at least one of the faces of the layer of viscoelastic material.

The present invention relates to a novel protective shirt device. The device is a protective undershirt to be worn during contact sports like baseball, softball, or even hockey. A core function of the device during wear is the protection of soft tissue, bone, and organs by providing designated areas of protection. The protective shirt device comprises a shirt component with a plurality of protection areas positioned in designated areas on the shirt component. Further, the shirt component comprises a torso section, a neck opening, and two sleeve components. Padding components are secured to the plurality of protection areas to absorb the impact of a pitch or line drive. Further, each protection area is independent of the other areas, allowing free range of motion and expansion of the muscle groups.

A protective vest is cropped and tight fitting for contraction around the chest and upper back regions. It has pockets for holding gel pads in a modular manner to suit the desired level of impact protection, or for use as a treatment/rehabilitation apparatus with hot and/or cold pads being inserted in the pockets. The pockets also include sensors for detection of impact data, and this is transferred to a data logger. The sensors are in an envelope of a pocket, so that they overlie pads for optimum operation. A player management system can capture data from multiple vests to provide real time information about player impacts, so that decisions can be made for player welfare. This data can include both impact force and direction elements, and cumulative totals of impact forces may be maintained per plater per time period or session.

A garment for motorcyclists which includes a pair of trousers, a belt portion, at least one adjusting insert and at least one protective element which is removably applied to the knee portion of the garment. Said at least one protective element is removably housed in a pocket arranged in the garment. The garment is also provided at the bottom portion of said pair of trousers with fixing means suitable for defining a plurality of height positions with reference to the belt portion of the garment. Said at least one adjusting insert is suitable for being removably fixed to the fixing means in order to adjust the length of the trousers. The garment is also provided at its knee portion with fastening means suitable for defining a plurality of height positions with reference to the belt portion of the garment. Said fastening means are suitable for adjusting the configuration of the pocket in which the protective element is housed in order to adjust the positioning of said protective element.

A sports sock includes a sock body having a pocket located along an inside surface. The pocket is positioned along the front end of the sock at a location suitable for covering the shin bone of a sock wearer. The pocket includes an opening along the top end, and has a shape and size that conforms to a shin guard. A flap is positioned along one edge of the pocket opening for selectively allowing and preventing passage of the shin guard through the pocket opening.

A system and method for providing lumbar support to a human spine is described. The system is compact, concealed, and carried within a garment of a user. The system includes a garment with an integrated pouch, an inflatable bladder, a pump, a valve, and a hose. The garment's pouch is located adjacent to the lower back of the user when the user is seated. The bladder is configured to support the lumbar of the spine while contained in the pouch. The hose allows passage of air between the pump and the bladder. The pump is contained inside a pocket in the garment. The valve regulates air pressure in the bladder. The bladder, pump, valve, and hose are detachable and removable from the garment.

A padded garment for cushioning knees of a user during activities includes pants and a plurality of pads. The pants are configured to position on and couple to the user. Each of a pair of panels is coupled to a front of a respective leg of the pants to define a pocket. The panels are dimensioned such that each pocket is sized to accommodate at least one pad. Each of a pair of apertures is positioned in a respective panel. The panels are configured to position over the knees of the user. The apertures are positioned in the panels so that each pocket is positioned to selectively insert the at least one pad. The at least one pad is configured to cushion a respective knee of the user when the knee contacts a surface during an activity, such as exercising, cleaning and gardening.

A compression fabric to which is attached a pocket into which is fitted padding that has a base and a plurality of half cylindrical shape portions that are arranged parallel to each other and spaced apart by respective gaps and that project outward from the base. The compression fabric may be a short or long sleeve of a sports jersey or an arm band. The padding is thin enough to be trimmed with scissors to suit the length of the upper arm of the wearer as desired.

The present disclosure describes an apparel system for an upper torso of a wearer. The apparel system may comprise a first layer of a breathable fabric and a water resistant second layer. The second layer may be stowed in a pocket located on the front of the first layer. The second layer may be transitioned from within the pocket to cover at least a portion of the first layer to protect the wearer from external conditions. In some embodiments, the second layer may be affixed to the first layer at an area within the pocket.

Apparatus includes a coverall garment having a waist section, and is configured to be worn by a range of users, in which users each respectively have a waist region defining a corresponding respective circumferential waist size. First spaced-apart belt loops are circumferentially affixed to the waist section of the coverall garment, and are configured to selectively receive a belt for a first user which has a first user vertical height that ranges within a first user vertical height range. Second spaced-apart belt loops are positioned relative to the first spaced-apart belt loops, and are circumferentially affixed to the waist section of the coverall garment. The second spaced-apart belt loops are configured to selectively receive the belt for a second user which has a second user vertical height that ranges within a second user vertical height range.
