A body protection device having a clothing component and one or more thin protective components provided with the clothing component. The thin protective components provide protection to a wearer of the clothing component. Advantageously, the thin protective components are substantially hidden so that the clothing component can look to others like a regular item of clothing. In one embodiment, the clothing component is a hat having at least one thin force absorbing member.
Low profile body protection device
A protective clothing device having an article of clothing having an inner layer and an outer layer is disclosed. The protective clothing device may have at least one thin force absorbing member coupled to the inner layer or outer layer of the article of clothing. In one embodiment, the protective clothing device may be a protective hat.
Back Support Shirt
The present invention is a back support shirt that provides a cushion support to a back upper torso of a user. The back support shirt comprises a front portion, a back portion, a pouch, a towel and a pair of hand engaging means. The back portion further comprises a back top portion, a back center portion and a back lower portion. The back center portion is made of a plurality of layers seamed together to form a stiff support for the back upper torso of the user. The plurality of layers of the back center portion is seamed together so as to form a pouch with an opening on an upper portion. The pouch allows convenient storage of the towel and can use whenever required without leaving forget at home. The present invention eliminates the hassle of bringing a big bulky towel to the gym and provides the pouch that allows he user to carry the lightweight slim towel and the advantage of easy transportation.
Orthopedic Padded Clothing System
An orthopedic padded clothing system including at least one garment assembly having a garment including an outer-surface, and an inner-surface having a plurality of pockets, and at least one padded insert. The plurality of pockets is/are located on the inner-surface of the garment, the plurality of pockets strategically placed on the garment such that pain and stress is reduced on at least one targeted area of a body of a user-wearer during use. The garment provides pain relief prevents discomfort, pain, stress, and injury to the body by protecting key areas.
Articles of apparel incorporating cushioning elements
Cushioning elements for apparel may include a pair of material layers and a pad component that is located between and secured to the material layers. At least one of the material layers is formed from an at least partially transparent material. The pad component includes a polymer foam material that defines at least one of a groove and a void, and the pad component includes a surface that includes a bonding agent that joins the pad component to the first material layer. The polymer foam material has a first color and the bonding agent has a second color that is different than the first color.
BASE FABRIC MATERIAL HAVING PAD MEMBER WITH CORE AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF
To provide a base fabric material having a pad member with a core and a manufacturing method thereof, the pad member with the core being capable of quickly and strongly joining the pad member, on which the core such as a cushion material is disposed, with beautiful finish in a state where the core is made to sufficiently project outward. The pad member having the core is joined to a one side surface of the base fabric material via an adhesive film, with its substantially entire area in thickness projecting, by performing thermocompression bonding by using a concave mold K, a convex mold HK, or the like having a hole or a groove made to match a shape or a thickness of the core. The adhesive film is made to have a mesh-like shape, or an adhesion preventing cloth is disposed and so on so as to ensure ventilation property.
PROTECTIVE GARMENT FOR ARTICULATIONS OF THE HUMAN BODY
The present invention relates to a protective garment (10) for articulations of the human body, suitable for being used in particular by motorcyclists or cyclists. The protective garment (10) comprises: a flexible base layer (12) which in use is designed to stay close to the body (14) of the user; at least one energy absorbing device (16) positioned at a portion of the flexible base layer (12) which in use is designed to be superimposed to an articulation of the body (14) of the user. The at least one energy absorbing device (16) is connected to the flexible base layer (12) so as to be movable with respect to the flexible base layer (12) if a tangential impact (F) acts on the energy absorbing device (16). According to the invention, the energy absorbing device (16) comprises a slidable layer (18) connected to the flexible base layer (12) by means of at least one fixation member (20).
Protecting an Athletic Participant Against Impact Injury
An article, garment and method protect a user's coccyx. Articles include: a core member constructed of an elastic composite, the core member including a upper lobe and a lower lobe, the core member further having an outer face, an inner face and a thickness between the outer face and the inner face; an arched outer shell attached to the outer face of the core member, the outer shell having a thickness less than the thickness of the core member, the outer shell biasing the core member toward an arched configuration; and a layer of resilient material attached to the inner face of the core member.
Protecting an athletic participant against impact injury
An article, garment and method protect a participant in an athletic activity against injury to the coccyx as well as to the buttocks of the participant. A core member of the article is constructed of an elastic composite that establishes a resistive load under deformation, in a lobed protective contour configuration, and an outer shell is integrated with the core member to provide a degree of stiffness for biasing the elastic composite of the core member toward the protective contour configuration during conduct of the athletic activity, while enabling flexing of the article to accommodate the athletic activity, such that upon fitting the article over the coccyx of the participant, as well as in juxtaposition with the participant's buttocks, the core member will protect against an impact, while the outer shell resists damage to the core member.
