Finger protector apparatus and related methods
Apparatus and methods are disclosed for preventing and protecting a user from disease and virus transmission that might otherwise occur from contacting or touching potentially contaminated surfaces. A finger protector provides a barrier between a user's finger and a potentially contaminated surface when a user makes contact with or touches the surface. Indicia on the protector provide visual and/or physical indicators to enable a user to track the potentially contaminated and non-contaminated surfaces of the finger protector, before, during, and after use. This enables a user to safely grab the non-contaminated portion of the protector for removal from their finger after use, thereby further helping reduce the risk of contamination and potential disease and virus transmission. The disclosed methods and apparatus include for use, fabrication, packaging, and distribution of the protectors.
HAND PAD
A Hand Pad comprising a flexible silicone material configured to provide flexibility of turning the Hand Pad inside out to fit either the left hand thumb or the right hand thumb is provided. In the depicted embodiment, the Hand Pad is used to protect the meaty pad of the palm. The Hand Pad is further configured to slip on and could be secured using a regular sports glove (batting glove, receiver's glove or baseball catcher's mitt). It is to be noted that the Hand Pad can further comprise a flexible silicone material configured to provide flexibility of turning the Hand Pad inside out to fit either the left hand thumb or the right hand thumb. In the depicted embodiment, the material could be a spongy gel that would absorb and displace a blow to the palm.
Finger guard
Disclosed is a finger guard. In an example embodiment, the finger guard includes a rectangular reticulate or netlike pad networked in a movable manner such that a plurality of unit plate pieces are connected to one another in four directions by a plurality of connecting loop members, and at least a pair of fastening belt members provided to extend or protrude parallel with one side of the reticulate pad, wherein the finger guard is configured to be worn in the form of a protective armor such that the reticulate pad covers and wraps around the dorsal side of a finger, upon which the finger guard is to be worn, and the respective fastening belt members pass the volar side of the finger to then be connected to be hooked on to one of the unit plate pieces in a state in which a portion of the volar side of the finger is opened and exposed in a length direction of the finger. With this configuration, the finger guard of the present disclosure is configured to be worn in the form of a protective armor such that fastening of the finger guard can be appropriately adjusted so as to be tailored to the thickness of a wearer's finger when the finger guard is worn for finger protection, thereby achieving enhanced functionality and quality for efficiently performing an elaborate and precise work by improving convenience in use and wearing comfort.
BIOHAZARD BARRIER AND SYSTEM FOR A HUMAN HAND
A skin barrier system includes an adhesive layer that reasonably secures on the underside of a palmar region and phalanx region of a hand; a biohazard barrier layer attached to the adhesive layer, biohazard barrier layer being configured to come in contact with surfaces and prevents containments from traveling through the biohazard barrier layer and the adhesive layer. An aspect of the disclosure includes a two-sided, molded material for a barrier on the palm side of the hand and fingers. One side adheres to hand and the other side may be configured to contact surfaces while keeping bacteria from getting through to the skin of a human hand.
SAFETY GLOVE WITH FINGERTIP PROTECTIVE MEMBER
A safety glove having a protective member or insert extending around the fingertip of the safety glove is provided. The protective member may be positioned along the outer surface or the inner surface of the glove. Alternatively, the protective member may be integrally formed between two layers of glove material. The protective member terminates distally from an interphalangeal joint line to enable finger flexion in order to grasp an item, such as a slab of meat to be deskinned in a skinning machine. The glove may include a rough outer surface formed from thrice dipping the glove and allowing the glove to cure. Additionally, the glove may have a width near the wrist that is wider than the width near the palm to enable the glove to be rapidly removed (i.e., doffed) in an emergency event of the glove getting caught in a rotating blade on the skinning machine.
SUPPORTER
[Problem to be Solved]
To provide a finger supporter capable of stabilizing hand joints of a wearer and reducing a load on any one finger from among five fingers.
[Solution]
The finger supporter includes: a first anchor portion 2 that is formed at an upper end 10a of a tubular fabric and causes the tubular fabric to be fastened to a forearm wrist portion of a wearer; a second anchor portion 3 that is formed to continue two points of a circling portion on the other end side of the tubular fabric and forms the circling portion into two opening portions 12a and 12b with different sizes; and a first support portion 4 that couples the second anchor portion 3 and the first anchor portion 2 and supports any one finger inserted into the smaller opening portion 12a from among five fingers.
DISPOSABLE SANITARY MITTS AND DISPENSING DEVICE
The present invention provides a mitt dispensing system having a mitt dispensing device and a plurality of finger covering mitts in a stack. Each finger covering mitt has a base sheet and a cover sheet sealed together around the entirety of each sheet. Each cover sheet defines an opening therethrough and the edges defining the opening have at least two flaps. The dispensing device has a body with a base wall, four side walls, and a top wall and a saddle disposed in the body and having a top surface and two angled support walls extending downwardly and outwardly from the top surface. The saddle defines two cavities within the body for receiving a stack of finger covering mitts. The flaps of a top finger covering mitt in the stack of mitts orient in a generally inclined direction away from the underlying base sheet when the plurality of finger covering mitts are disposed on the top surface of the saddle.
Thumb Assistance Tool
A thumb guard device is provided. The device includes a solid elongated body. The solid elongated body is shaped like a finger or thumb. The elongated body varies is length and shape to accommodate for different usages. The solid elongated body is composed of a rigid plastic material to engage with a desired surface or object. The device includes an aperture to receive a keyring or any similar connector to mount the device to an object. In one embodiment, the device may be placed within the user's hand. In one embodiment, the device may also be placed over the finger or thumb of a user. The device further includes photoluminescent properties. The photoluminescent properties provide the user with a light source when it is used in dark spaces. The device may protect the thumb of the wearer when activating a difficult push-buttons or otherwise applying force to a surface.
ELASTOMERIC ARTICLES HAVING SKIN CARE PROPERTIES AND METHODS FOR THEIR PRODUCTION
The present application provides elastomeric articles that are able to deliver skin care properties to a person wearing or coming into contact with the article. The articles comprise an elastomeric film a plant stem cell material. The plant stem cell material may be in the form of a bilayer membrane-encapsulated plant stem cell material. The plant stem cell material may be present as a layer or coating on a surface of the elastomeric film. Also provided are methods for the production of the articles.
Removable Finger Pad Apparatus
A fingertip pad apparatus may include a layer of a material, such as a high-clarity polyethylene terephthalate (PET), that enables electrical contact between the user's fingertip and the touch screen. The fingertip pad apparatus includes an adhesive bottom layer to enable adherence to the user's finger and easy removable when the user wishes to dispose of the apparatus. The fingertip pad apparatus has a size that approximates that of a human fingertip. The fingertip pad apparatus may also include an antimicrobial coating on a top surface.
