WRIST GUARD
The present invention relates to a wrist guard and provides a wrist guard that does not pressurize the entire wrist portion but allows for pressurizing only the radius portion and the ulna portion, thereby not only performing a wrist protection function in a stable manner, but also not hindering blood circulation since other portions of the wrist are not pressurized, and thus may be conveniently used since side-effects such as hand numbness or hand swelling do not occur even when wearing same for a long period, and the position and thickness of a pressurizing pad for pressurizing the radius portion and the ulna portion of the wrist may be adjusted according to the needs of a user, and thus the wrist guard may be more conveniently used since same may be altered into an optimal state according to physical conditions of the user or environmental conditions.
Wearable Thermal Protection and Perspiration Management Apparatus and Method
Disclosed is a wearable thermal protection and perspiration management apparatus that includes a two-ply composite main body and an inner layer of elastic material. The two-ply main body includes an outer layer made of moisture absorbent material and an interior layer made of moisture wicking material this is arranged in contact with the outer layer of moisture absorbent material. The interior layer provides a moisture barrier which is adapted for preventing captured moisture from contacting a wearer's body. The inner layer of elastic material is adapted and configured to secure the two-ply composite main body in contact with the wearer's body. Preferably, the two-ply composite main body has a Thermal Protective Performance rating of greater than 35 cal/cm.sup.2.
Adjustable bowling wrist directional support and guide
The current invention is a Bowling wrist directional support and guide. It is made of a structurally sound injection molded plastics but not limited to other forms of structurally sound and moldable materials. It will have a breathable material so as to be mildew resistant cooling material between the bowlers hand and directional support, The glove has a slot in which a user can insert an image which can be changed. The base extends out at its front and back and tapers in the middle.
Liquid Directing Bands
Liquid directing bands are disclosed. In one instance, the liquid directing bands are formed with an oval shape and have a concave basin, a cuff pillar with a cuff aperture, and a spout. A first portion of the concave basin is between a first exterior side of the concave basin and a centerline of the cuff aperture. A second portion of the concave basin is between the centerline of the cuff aperture and a second exterior side of the concave basin. A volume of the first portion of the concave basin is greater than a volume of the second portion of the concave basin, and the cuff aperture and cuff pillar are formed to receive a human forearm. Other embodiments and features are disclosed.
Gloved wrist guard and wrist guard
A wrist guard and a gloved wrist guard are disclosed for providing coverage and protection of the radiocarpal joint including the distal end of the radius, the ulna and the carpal bones as well as the dorsal aspect of the metacarpals.
FUNCTIONAL GLOVE FOR HOLDING ULTRASONIC PROBE
A functional glove for holding an ultrasonic probe includes: a body for encompassing the thumb and at least a part of the back of the hand of an inspector operating the ultrasonic probe; a probe fixing part coupled to the body so as to encompass and fix the fingers of the inspector and the ultrasonic probe; and a wrist protection part connected to the body so as to encompass and protect the wrist of the inspector.
WRIST ROTATION CONTROLLER FOR BOWLERS
A device and method for restricting or enhancing wrist rotation uses an armband with an outer surface with loop or hook fasteners. An elongated flexible non-stretchable device wraps outwardly around the forearm when in use to prevent over-rotation of the wrist or wraps inwardly around the forearm when in use to prevent under-rotation of the wrist. The elongated device has an upper end portion, a lower end portion, and an inner surface with hook or loop fasteners. The elongated device can be removably and adjustably attached to the armband, and has a first connecting device affixed to the lower end portion. A gauntlet has a second connecting device affixed at the dorsal side of the thumb that is compatible with the first connecting device. The gauntlet may be constructed from material stretchable in a transverse direction of the hand but not stretchable in a longitudinal direction of the hand.
PROTECTIVE GEAR AND OPERATING CONTROL METHOD THEREOF
Protective gears and operating control methods thereof are provided. The protective gear includes at least one impact-resistant pad, containing a phase-change material and capable of at least partially wrapping a protected area; a phase-change controller, including a heating device and a cooling device configured to control the phase-change material; and a control circuit, configured to send a signal to the phase-change controller to control the phase-change material to be in a solid phase state after detecting a fall-down of the protected area, and send another signal to the phase-change controller to control the phase-change material to be in a liquid phase state after detecting an un-fall-down of the protected area.
GLOVE AND SLEEVE SYSTEM
A glove and sleeve system including a garment assembly with a pair of hand coverings, a pair of sleeves, and a plurality of fasteners. One of the pair of hand coverings is configured to be worn on each respective hand of a user-wearer and one of the pair of sleeves are configured to be worn on a forearm portion of each respective arm of the user-wearer. The pair of hand coverings and the pair of sleeves are configured to be removeably attached via the plurality of fasteners to create effectively a single continuous member for insulated full coverage of the hands, wrists, and the arms of the user-wearer when worn.
Elongated wrist towel with elastic rim and seam
An elongated wrist towel for wearing on a user's wrist without exerting circumferential pressure over a large portion of the user's arm includes a towel body defining a hollow, elongated sleeve and is sized to encircle the distal arm of a user. The towel body includes an elastic distal edge which allows the elongated wrist towel to be secured to a user's wrist, a non-elastic proximal edge, and an elastic seam which runs longitudinally between the proximal edge and the distal edge. In this regard, when in place on a wearer's arm, the elongated wrist towel can be retained on the wrist through compression from a single rim and selectively moved between extended and compacted positions on a user's arm.
