HELMET APPARATUS WITH CAMERAS FOR VIEWING A USERS ENVIRONMENT
A helmet apparatus for displaying a surrounding environment to a user includes a shell with cameras mounted to the shell. The cameras view respectively forwardly, rearwardly, and laterally from the shell, and a display is provided which shows images and video captured by the cameras on a visor also mounted to the shell.
Protective helmet equipped with visor with LC layer and depolarizing layer
A protective helmet for practicing sports activities or using motorized vehicles is provided. The protective helmet has a cap provided with a front opening at an eye region of a user, and closed by a visor assembly. The visor assembly has at least one at least partially transparent structural lens, a guest-host type liquid crystal (LC) film adapted to modify its own transparency level, arranged behind the at least partially transparent structural lens, at least one electrical source for powering the LC film, and at least one depolarizing layer arranged between the at least partially transparent structural lens and the LC film.
SPORTS HELMET
The present invention discloses a sports helmet. The helmet comprises a rigid shell defining a cavity configured to fit over a user's head, a frame pivotally connected to the shell via a linkage, a wire mesh attached to the frame and adapted to extend across the user's face. The wire mesh comprises an opening transversely extending across the user's eyes. A transparent eye shield is disposed at the opening of the mesh. The eye shield comprises holes to prevent accumulation of fog and allow airflow to provide clear vision to the user. A shock absorber is disposed at an interior side of a bottom portion of the wire mesh. The shock absorber is configured to conform onto the facial contour of the user upon impact with an object and mitigate effect of impact force. Further, concussion sensors are embedded in the helmet configured to detect impact to identify concussive injuries.
Electrochromic Face Shield Device
An electrochromic face shield device includes a head harness that can be worn on a user's head and a pivoting band that is pivotally attached to the head harness. The pivoting band is positionable in a first position or a second position. A face shield is attached to the pivoting band and the face shield has a clear portion and an opaque portion. An electrochromic layer is integrated into the clear portion of the face shield. The electrochromic layer is turned on when the face shield is in the second position to inhibit light from passing through the clear portion thereby facilitating the clear portion to shade the user when the pivoting band is in the second position. The electrochromic layer is turned off when the pivoting band is in the first position to facilitate the user to see through the clear portion.
Removable visor device
A removable visor device for shielding the eyes of a user from the sun while the user is wearing a helmet includes a helmet shell having a peripheral wall with an exterior surface. The helmet shell has a rounded shape wherein the helmet shell is positionable on a head of a user. The helmet shell further includes a cutout extending through the peripheral wall. The cutout exposes a face of the user when the helmet shell is positioned on the head of the user. A face shield is pivotably coupled to the peripheral wall wherein the face shield is selectively positionable over the cutout. A visor is removably couplable to the helmet shell. The visor is positionable over the exterior surface of the face shield. The visor is tinted wherein the visor is designed to inhibit light transmittance through the face shield.
HEAD PROTECTION GEAR
Head protection gear is disclosed. The head protection gear according to one aspect of the present invention comprises: an outer frame having a frame opening that is open at the front side thereof; a sub-visor which partially covers the front side of the outer frame and which is movably coupled to the outer frame; support members, each being coupled to the outer frame and the sub-visor so as to movably support the sub-visor; and a movable member which is movably coupled to the support member, and which is coupled to the sub-visor so as to be movable together with the sub-visor, wherein the movable member can move between a first position at which the sub-visor opens the frame opening, and a second position at which the sub-visor at least partially covers the frame opening.
Optical article and method for producing optical article
Provided is an optical article having a substrate, a primer layer generated by curing a polymerizable composition for forming the primer layer, and a photochromic layer generated by curing a (meth)acrylate-based polymerizable composition containing a photochromic compound in this order, in which the polymerizable composition for forming the primer layer contains a component A: polyisocyanate and a component B: hydroxy group-containing (meth)acrylate.
Visor assembly with unique plate
A helmet is provided which includes a helmet shell defining a cavity. The helmet shell has left and right helmet mounting sections defined on left and right sides thereof, and the helmet includes a visor mounting system comprising a primary visor connector made of a single piece and adapted for connection with the left and right helmet mounting sections. The helmet further has a primary visor removably and pivotally connected to the primary visor connector and adapted to pivot about a primary pivot axis.
Helmet
A helmet has a helmet shell and a visor pivotally connected to the helmet shell. First and second helmet electrical contacts are attached at both sides of the helmet and are adapted for electrically connecting to an electrical power source. First and second visor electrical contacts are attached to each side of the visor. The first and second visor electrical contacts are in contact with the first and second helmet electrical contacts respectively, at at least one position of the pivoting visor. First and second electrical wires are electrically connected to the first and second visor electrical contacts respectively.
