PROTECTIVE HELMET WITH MULTIPLE PSEUDO-SPHERICAL ENERGY MANAGEMENT LINERS
A helmet comprising and outer liner and an inner liner slidably coupled to an interior surface of the outer liner is disclosed. The outer liner comprises an interior surface and the inner liner comprises an exterior surface. The inner liner is composed of an elastically deformable material. A majority of the interior surface of the outer liner and a majority of the exterior surface of the inner liner are both substantially parallel to a pseudo-spherical surface having a coronal cross section that is circular with a first radius and a sagittal cross section that is circular with a second radius different from the first radius. The inner liner is elastically deformable along the interior surface of the outer liner in response to rotation of the outer liner relative to the inner liner caused by an impact to the helmet.
MAGNETIC QUICK CONNECT
A magnetic quick connect for a fluid delivery system includes a male coupling member and a female coupling member. The male coupling member defines a first outer fluid communication path and includes a first magnetic material. A first inner member is disposed within the first outer fluid communication path and defines a first inner communication path. The female coupling member defines a second outer fluid communication path and includes a second magnetic material. A second inner member is disposed within the second outer fluid communication path and defines a second inner communication path. The male and female coupling members are detachably held together by an attractive force between the first and second magnetic materials such that the first and second outer communication paths are held in fluid communication, and the first and second inner communication paths are held in fluid communication.
Mechanical-waves Dispersing Protective Headgear Apparatus
The present invention provides an apparatus to disperse and attenuate mechanical waves which travel through a human brain upon direct and indirect blunt head trauma. The apparatus comprises a pressurizable and ventable outer balloon shell encasing an inner hard shell. The pressurizable and ventable outer balloon shell releases a pressurized gas to atmosphere upon an impact to said pressurizable and ventable outer balloon shell. The pressurizable and ventable outer balloon shell is configured to compartmentalize an impact region, to reduce amplitudes of incident, reflected and transmitted mechanical waves and to dampen resonance of the mechanical waves delivered to both the apparatus and a human head.
SWEAT MANAGEMENT PAD FOR PROTECTIVE HELMETS
A protective helmet may include an energy management material inside an outer surface, a rim positioned on an outwardly facing surface between an inner surface and the outer surface, a sweat management pad assembly with an absorbent forehead pad positioned in a front portion of the helmet proximate the rim, the assembly including at least one absorbent extension tab extending from the absorbent forehead pad and across a portion of a surface of the rim outward of the inner surface of the energy management material, wherein the absorbent extension tab extends at least half a distance across the rim between the inner surface and the outer surface, and a fastener positioned between the absorbent extension tab and the rim and coupling the absorbent extension tab to the rim.
PROTECTIVE HEADGEAR AND MULTIFUNCTIONAL CASUAL PROTECTIVE CLOTHING
The present invention relates to the technical field of clothing, and more particularly to a protective headgear and a multifunctional casual protective clothing. The protective headgear consists of a headgear body, an inner headgear, a goggle, breathing valves and a headgear zipper. The multifunctional casual protective clothing includes a piece of clothing and a protective headgear. A collar zipper is arranged on the collar of the clothing, and the collar zipper is connected with the headgear zipper of the headgear. By adopting the protective headgear, the multifunctional casual protective clothing of the present invention can avoid and prevent viruses, dust, smog, wind and snow; and after the protective headgear is removed, it can be used as ordinary casual clothing, with various functions and easy use, the protective headgear is suitable for casual clothing such as a coat, sportswear, down jacket, sweater, overcoat, jacket or leather jacket.
Electronic motorcycle helmet
An electronic motorcycle helmet. The electronic motorcycle helmet includes a helmet having an aperture therein that can receive a head therethrough. A visor is disposed on a front side of the helmet and a display is disposed on an interior surface of the visor. A microprocessor, including a logic that receives a command input directed to one of a plurality of subsystems, toggles the subsystem between an activated state and a deactivated state, and displays a status window on the display corresponding to the subsystem. The plurality of subsystems includes a plurality of cameras disposed about the helmet, wherein each of the cameras is operably connected to the display and can apply a low-light filter for low-light conditions. Other subsystems include a wireless transmitter to wirelessly communicate with an external device, a GPS system, and a battery disposed at a lower edge of the rear side.
Catcher's helmet
A catcher's mask comprises a two-piece plastic shell composed of a rigid front shell and a rigid rear shell. The front and rear shells are connected by a strap harness attached to the front shell and have padding assemblies. The front shell has ventilation holes including dual ear holes positioned over the wearer's ears and a full jaw protector integrally formed as part of front shell. A wire faceguard is removably attached to the front shell extending over the ear holes. A front liner is installed in the brow area, crown area, and side areas of the front shell, a middle liner extending around the rear inner surface of the front shell, a suspended foam jaw pad, and a central chin pad. The rear shell has a concave padding assembly comprised of a concave TPU shock absorbing layer, and a nested concave comfort layer.
Safety helmet fan system
A safety helmet fan system includes a fan housing carrying a fan and configured to be mounted on an exterior of a safety helmet shell above a brim of the safety helmet shell, and an elongate cooling air duct connected to the fan housing to direct cooling air flow from the fan housing around the brim and into an interior of the safety helmet shell. The duct can have a flexible construction that allows the duct to be selectively reshaped to accommodate different safety helmet brim configurations. The duct can have a releasable connector configured to releasably connect the duct to a brim of a safety helmet shell.
MOUNTABLE TIMED EVENT RFID TAG ASSEMBLY AND METHOD OF USE
An RFID tag assembly and method of use with a RFID tag assembly the RFID tag assembly includes an RFID tag having a mounting substrate having a spacer with a first surface and an opposing second surface, the spacer having a predetermined thickness, a mounting carrier with a substantially planar body with a first portion having first and second ends with two sides defined therebetween and has two or more second portions extending from the body forming free ends each and having selectively attachable adhesive on a portion of the bottom surface being deformably attached to the first portion and with second surface attached to the top surface of the first portion with the first planar surface with the RFID tag position parallel and set apart above the top surface of the carrier at a distance equal to or greater than the predetermined thickness.
