SOLID-STATE BATTERY MANUFACTURING METHOD
An all-solid-state battery manufacturing apparatus disclosed herein includes a transport apparatus, a press roller, and an adhesive provision apparatus. The transport apparatus transports an active material layer. The press roller has a foil attachment surface, which is a cylindrical surface to which the current collection foil is to be attached. The press roller rotates and moves the current collection foil attached to the foil attachment surface to the surface of the active material layer being transported by the transport apparatus and presses the current collection foil and the active material layer between the press roller and the transport apparatus. The adhesive provision apparatus is provided on a movement path of the current collection foil rotated and moved by the foil attachment surface of the press roller, and provides an adhesive to the current collection foil attached to the press roller.
METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING OR RECYCLING MEMBER FOR ELECTROCHEMICAL DEVICE, METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING ELECTROCHEMICAL DEVICE, MEMBER FOR ELECTROCHEMICAL DEVICE, AND ELECTROCHEMICAL DEVICE
A purpose of the present invention is to provide a method for manufacturing, etc., a member for an electrochemical device in which the problem of irreversible change in the composition of the electrochemical device due to solvent depletion, moisture absorption, etc., during manufacturing of the electrochemical devices is unlikely to occur. This method for manufacturing a member for an electrochemical device includes performing at least one shaping operation described in the present specification on a shaping material composition that comprises: at least one filler (F); a plasticizer (P-S), being water, an ionic liquid, or a mixture thereof; and a polymer (P1), the shaping material composition being substantially free of an organic solvent and having plasticity and self-supporting property.
ELECTRODE MANUFACTURING
A method for manufacturing electrodes includes, by an extruder that receives powder, mixing the powder to form a homogenous blend, injecting a lubricant into the homogenous blend to form a dough, and kneading the dough to form a fibrillated dough. The method further includes, by calender rollers, calendering chunks of the fibrillated dough to a target thickness to form a continuous plaque, by a laminating machine, laminating the plaque to opposite sides of a metal substrate to form a continuous electrode preform, by a dryer, drying the continuous electrode preform to form a dry continuous electrode preform, and by a cutting machine, sectioning the dry continuous electrode preform into electrodes.
Protective layers for metal electrode batteries
Hybrid electrodes for batteries are disclosed having a protective electrochemically active layer on a metal layer. Other hybrid electrodes include a silicon salt on a metal electrode. The protective layer can be formed directly from the reaction between the metal electrode and a metal salt in a pre-treatment solution and/or from a reaction of the metal salt added in an electrolyte so that the protective layer can be formed in situ during battery formation cycles.
ALL SOLID STATE BATTERY
A main object of the present disclosure is to provide an all solid state battery wherein interface resistance between a current collector and an active material layer is low. In the present disclosure, the above object is achieved by providing an all solid state battery comprising: an electrode including a current collector, an electron conductive layer, and an active material layer, in this order, and a solid electrolyte layer formed on the active material layer side of the electrode, and the electron conductive layer is an agglutinate of metal particles or a metal foil, and electron conductivity of the electron conductive layer is 1×10.sup.3 S/cm or more at 25° C.
