AN ASSEMBLY FOR PROVIDING FOOTWEAR WITH A PLURALITY OF REMOVABLE AND INTERCHANGEABLE FOOTBEDS
An assembly for providing footwear with a plurality of removable and interchangeable footbeds. The assembly providing an item of footwear, a cushioning full length footbed adapted for insertion within the footwear to cooperate with the footwear to thereby produce a soft feel, and a supportive full length footbed adapted for insertion within the footwear to cooperate with the footwear to thereby produce a supportive feel. In use, the cushioning full length footbed is inserted into the item of footwear to provide a soft feeling underfoot, or the supportive full length footbed is inserted into the item of footwear to provide a support to reduce or prevent excessive pronation.
SHOES INCLUDING ARCH PAD
The present invention may provide shoes comprising an arch pad, the shoes comprising: an arch pad provided with a block seating groove that is formed in an area corresponding to the arch part of a foot; and an arch block positioned on the block seating groove and formed convexly so as to protrude from the upper surface of the arch pad such that the upper surface of the arch block pressurizes the arch part of the foot. The arch block comprises: a base portion fixed to the block seating groove; and a deformation portion which can be attached to/detached from the base portion such that the position in which the deformation portion pressurizes the arch part can be adjusted according to the position in which the deformation portion is installed on the base portion.
Insole with customizable resilient forefoot sections and/or subsections
A removable insole for insertion into footwear, comprises a forefoot portion integral to the insole and extending at least to a metatarsal of a foot and including a resilient layer, the resilient layer including at least two non-contiguous resilient layer sections (including a big toe section). The at least two non-contiguous resilient sections include at least four resilient layer subsections in some embodiments, a continuous rear portion that includes a medial longitudinal arch support portion, a heel surrounding portion and a lateral longitudinal arch support portion; and a heel portion. In some embodiments, the forefoot is customizable by having different levels of hardness for the subsections and big toe section. The insole is therefore tailored a particular sport. The medial longitudinal arch support portion includes a detachable cushion configured to adjust a height of the medial longitudinal arch and to support the foot during pronation of the foot.
Adjustable orthotic foot device
In embodiments, an adjustable orthotic foot device may include a shell layer including an upper surface and a contoured lower surface, and a soft insole layer coupled to the upper surface of the shell layer, the soft insole layer defining an arch support structure on an upper surface of the soft insole layer along a medial edge of the soft insole layer. The adjustable orthotic foot device may further include one or more structural support inserts configured to be removably inserted within a pocket formed between the shell layer and the soft insole layer in order to adjust an arch height of the arch support structure. In embodiments, the one or more structural support inserts may be defined by a curved lateral edge and a convex curved medial edge.
ADJUSTABLE FOOTBEDS FOR FOOTWEAR
A footbed having at least one of a thickness adjustment panel and a lateral adjustment fin, each configured to be moved between a first configuration and a second configuration, the first and second configurations providing different fits of a shoe into which the footbed is inserted.
Sole structure with progressively adaptive stiffness
A sole structure for an article of footwear comprises a sole plate including a foot support portion with a foot-facing surface and a ground-facing surface. An opening extends through the foot support portion from the foot-facing surface to the ground-facing surface. The sole plate includes a bridge portion underlying the opening and secured to the foot support portion fore and aft of the opening. The sole structure includes a piston that has a body and a support arm extending transversely from the body. The body extends through the opening. The support arm is supported on the bridge portion, trapped below the ground-facing surface by the foot support portion, and extends under the ground-facing surface at medial and lateral sides of the opening.
MODULAR INSERT SYSTEM FOR SHOE SOLES
A support customising system is described for a sole of a shoe. The sole includes a relatively soft, resilient midsole and an a harder outsole. Hard insert elements are provided for inserting into vertical cavities in the midsole. By varying the hardnesses of different inserts in different vertical cavities, a precisely-tunable pronation control effect on the wearer's gait can be effected. First-order, second-order and third-order pronation control effects are described. Measures are provided for improving the accuracy of the proprioceptive (sensory motoric) effect on the wearer's foot, for example by limiting the ingress of dirt or water.
Interchangeable foot therapy massager
An interchangeable foot therapy massager including a base defining a cavity having a first section having a first diameter and a second section having a second diameter greater than the first diameter, an insert including a pair of opposing sides and configured to be received within the first and second sections of the cavity, the insert including a head for contacting the foot of the user, a lip for engaging the second section of the cavity, and defining a space configured to allow for inward flexure, wherein applying force to the sides of the insert causes the insert to flex inwardly, removing force from the sides of the insert causes the insert to flex outwardly, and when the insert flexes outwardly the at least one lip engages the second section of the cavity.
Device for preventing and treating foot and leg ulcers
A device is configured to treat ulcers/chronic wounds. First, and intermediate insoles are constructed from including the semi-compressed felt. A third sole serving as the base of the device is made constructed from including Ethylene Vinyl Acetate EVA. A cavity with beveled edge in the first insole is configured to over-lap the chronic wounds or ulcerations. The cavity channels the drainage or extrude from the ulcerations to the intermediate insole where it is absorbed.
Kompressor: Footwear with computer controlled individually configurable inflatable air bladder orthotic and non-orthotic structures.
An assembly for a shoe or other footwear comprising computer controlled individually configurable inflatable air bladder orthotic structures that are monitored by a flexible pressure sensor pad. Comprising of a plurality of regions, each region including a respective plurality of air bladders; each respective air bladder being individually feed by a separate tube; each tube having a self-sealing valve disposed thereon and configured to allow air to enter the bladder through the valve while maintaining air pressure within the air bladder; and each self-sealing tube valve configured to allow air to escape through the valve via a computer controlled mini compressor integrated pump and release valve device. Where the air bladders are feed air through a mini smart compressor, which additionally can be controlled by a smart phone or computer. Said smart compressor connects with the shoe assembly at the heel pad plug in. The heel pad plug in comprising individual hoses and valves to fill and empty bladders and a power cord for recharging the shoe battery.
