Comfortable dress shoes
A dress shoe includes a flexible upper structure with stretchy lining and outside layers and a zonal-structured cloth layer therebetween to enable elasticity while maintaining structure; a cushioned insole with a three-point support system under the toe crest, the arch, and the heel; and a mixed material insole and outsole to prevent slipping during walking and standing.
Article of footwear with zonal cushioning system
An article of footwear includes an upper and a sole structure secured to an underside of the upper. The sole structure includes a midsole; a ground contacting outsole surface; and a cushioning system disposed between the midsole and the ground contacting outsole surface. The cushioning system includes a plate comprising an upper plate and a lower plate provided in a spaced relationship. The upper plate and lower plate are integrally connected at a posterior portion of the sole structure. A midfoot fluid-filled chamber is provided between the upper plate and the lower plate within the midfoot region, and a forefoot fluid-filled chamber is provided between the upper plate and the lower plate within the forefoot region.
FOOTWEAR SOLE PLATE WITH NON-PARALLEL WAVES OF VARYING THICKNESS
A sole structure for an article of footwear has a sole plate that may include a midfoot region, and also may include a forefoot region or a heel region. The sole plate may have a foot-facing surface with ridges extending longitudinally in the midfoot region and in the forefoot region or heel region. The sole plate may have a ground-facing surface with grooves extending longitudinally in correspondence with the ridges. A thickness of the sole plate from the foot-facing surface to the ground-facing surface may vary at a transverse cross-section of the sole plate through the ridges, or along a length of at least one of the ridges, or at both the transverse cross-section and along the length of the at least one of the ridges. The ridges may have crests at least some of which may extend non-parallel with one another in a longitudinal direction of the sole plate.
SHOE SOLE AND SHOE
A shoe sole 1 includes a bottom part 20 and a deformation restraining part 30. The bottom part 20 includes: a rear bottom surface part 24 formed to extend from a rearfoot to a midfoot portion and to be, when the shoe sole is placed on a virtual surface S as a flat surface, in contact with the virtual surface S; and a toe portion 26 of which a height from the virtual surface S is set to 100% or greater and 250% or less with respect to a thickness in the rear bottom surface part 24. The deformation restraining part 30 is disposed in an edge part on a medial side and a lateral side of the bottom part 20 and extends from a forefoot to the midfoot portion along the bottom part 20. The deformation restraining part 30 has higher hardness than the bottom part 20.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING SHOE SOLE
Disclosed is a method for producing a shoe sole. The shoe sole includes: a shoe sole fabric having the form of a sole; a protective cover having the form corresponding to the form of the shoe sole fabric and bonded to a lower surface of the shoe sole fabric with a plurality of pillar through holes vertically penetrating the protective cover; and a plurality of pillar pieces passing through the plurality of pillar through holes, and bonded to the lower surface of the shoe sole fabric and arranged in a form of protruding downward from the protective cover.
Sole structure for article of footwear
A sole structure for an article of footwear having an upper includes a heel region, a forefoot region, and a mid-foot region disposed between the heel region and the forefoot region. The sole structure also includes a fluid-filled chamber including a first barrier layer cooperating with a second barrier layer to define a fluid-filled segment extending along a medial side of the sole structure within the heel region, a second fluid-filled segment extending along a lateral side of the sole structure within the heel region, and a web area disposed between and connecting the first fluid-filled segment and the second fluid-filled segment. The first barrier layer is attached to the second barrier layer within the web area.
Particulate foam with partial restriction
An article of footwear includes an upper, an outsole, and a midsole disposed between the upper and the outsole. The outsole is attached to the upper and has a ground-engaging surface. The midsole has a series of walls that define a series of channels extending substantially perpendicular to a longitudinal axis of the midsole and along an entire length of the midsole. The series of channels are isolated from one another and each channel receives a quantity of particulate matter therein.
FOOTWEAR PLATE
A method of forming a plate for an article of footwear is disclosed. The method includes applying a first strand portion to a base layer including positioning adjacent segments of the first strand portion to form a first layer on the base layer. The adjacent segments of the first strand portion having a greater density across a width of the plate between a medial side and a lateral side at a midfoot region of the plate than at a forefoot region of the plate and at a heel region of the plate. The method also includes applying at least one of heat and pressure to the first strand portion and to the base layer to conform the first strand portion and the base layer to a predetermined shape.
Midsole with graded response
A sole structure for an article of footwear comprises a midsole having four stacked polymeric sheets bonded to one another to define a first cushioning layer, a second cushioning layer, and a third cushioning layer. Each cushioning layer comprises a sealed chamber retaining gas in isolation from each other sealed chamber. Bonds between adjacent ones of the sheets are arranged such that the third cushioning layer is stacked directly above the first cushioning layer with the second cushioning layer bordering both the first cushioning layer and the third cushioning layer, and the sealed chamber of the second cushioning layer includes a plurality of elongated segments each extending lengthwise across a longitudinal midline of the midsole at a respective acute angle to the longitudinal midline.
Encased strobel with cushioning member and method of manufacturing an article of footwear
A strobel for an article of footwear may include a casing having a peripheral flange and defining a cavity. The strobel may also include at least one cushioning member disposed in the cavity. An exterior surface of the casing facing away from the cavity may be a foot contact surface of the strobel and the peripheral flange may be configured for connection to a lower perimeter of a footwear upper of an article of footwear. A method of manufacturing an article of footwear includes securing a peripheral flange of the casing to a lower perimeter of an upper, the upper and the strobel defining a foot-receiving void of the article of footwear, the strobel having at least one cushioning member.
