Airbag for article of footwear
A sole structure for an article of footwear having a heel region, a mid-foot region, a forefoot region, an interior region, and a peripheral region. The sole structure including a bladder having a chamber including an arcuate segment extending around the heel region, a first segment extending along the peripheral region on a medial side of the sole structure from the arcuate segment to a first terminal end in the forefoot region, and a second segment spaced apart from the first segment across a width of the sole structure and extending along the peripheral region on a lateral side of the sole structure from the arcuate segment to a second terminal end in the forefoot region. A peripheral outsole extends along the chamber and a first cushion is disposed between the first segment and the second segment and is exposed through an opening of the peripheral outsole.
Footwear Comprising an Elastic Intermediate Sole
The invention relates to footwear comprising a multi-layer structure of the sole, with said sole being composed of at least one outsole (3), an optional insole as well as a midsole (2), wherein the midsole (2) is made of an elastic material having an open-cell structure provided with a gas- and liquid-tight outer skin, with said cell structure being filled with at least one fluidic medium.
LIGHTWEIGHT SHOES
According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, a lightweight shoe comprises an outsole and a vamp attached or sewn to the outsole to cover a foot, wherein the vamp includes a foam member and a fiber layer to surround the foam member.
Midsole With a Shearing Structure for a Shoe and Method of Manufacturing Thereof
The present disclosure relates to a sole (101) for a shoe, in particular for a sports shoe, such as a running shoe, the sole (101) comprising: a midsole (110) comprising an upper midsole layer (120) and a lower midsole layer (125), the upper midsole layer (120) and the lower midsole layer (125) being distinct from one another; and a shearing structure (130), arranged in the midsole (110); wherein the shearing structure (130) is configured to allow a relative movement between the upper midsole layer (120) and the lower midsole layer (125).
SOLE COMPRISING REINFORCING FRAME
A sole for a shoe, in particular for a sports shoe, such as a running shoe, the sole comprising a midsole and a reinforcing frame, wherein at least a first part of the reinforcing frame substantially surrounds an outer boundary of the midsole in one or more of: a lateral side region, a medial side region, a heel region, and a toe region of the midsole thereby defining an open space such that a part of the midsole is received in the open space.
ARTICLE OF FOOTWEAR HAVING A SOLE STRUCTURE WITH A PLATE FOR STABILITY
An article of footwear includes a sole structure that has a plate, a first foam layer, and a second foam layer. The first foam layer overlies the plate and has a distal side interfacing with a proximal side of the plate. The second foam layer underlies the plate and has a proximal side interfacing with a distal side of the plate. A compressive stiffness of the first foam layer is greater than a compressive stiffness of the second foam layer. A compressive stiffness of the plate is greater than the compressive stiffness of the first foam layer.
Comfortable dress shoes
A dress shoe includes a flexible upper structure with stretchy lining and outside layers and a zonal-structured cloth layer therebetween to enable elasticity while maintaining structure; a cushioned insole with a three-point support system under the toe crest, the arch, and the heel; and a mixed material insole and outsole to prevent slipping during walking and standing.
Footwear and sole structure assemblies with split midsoles having peripheral walls for lateral stability
Presented are footwear sole structures with split midsole designs having peripheral walls for lateral stability, footwear fabricated with such sole structures, and methods for making/using such footwear and/or sole structures. A sole structure for an article of footwear includes mating first and second midsole sections each having a respective midsole sidewall that extends between and adjoins respective upper and lower midsole surfaces. The first midsole section's lower surface has a first waveform geometry, such as an anteroposterior-undulating curviform wave, and the second midsole section's upper surface has a complementary, mirrored waveform geometry that seats therein and intermeshes with the first waveform geometry. The second midsole section includes one or more peripheral walls that extend upward from the second sidewall; inboard surfaces of the peripheral wall(s) abut outboard surfaces the first sidewall. An outsole, which defines the footwear's ground-contacting surface, is attached to the lower surface of the second midsole section.
Torsion-resistant three-density high rigidity midsole
A torsion-resistant three-density high rigidity midsole includes a midsole body having a front region, a back region, and a middle region integrally connected between the front and back regions. The front region has a front region density and a front region length. The back region has a back region length, and a back region density smaller than the front region density. The middle region has a middle region length, and a middle region density greater than the front region density. A sum of the front and middle region lengths is greater than the back region length. A cushion body is integrally formed on a top surface of the midsole body, and covers the front, middle and back regions. An elastic piece is sandwiched between the top surface of the midsole body and a bottom surface of the cushion body at a position corresponding to the middle region.
SOLE STRUCTURE FOR ARTICLE OF FOOTWEAR
A sole structure for an article of footwear is provided. The sole structure includes a midsole, a cushion disposed in the midsole and including an inner portion, and an outsole including a first surface defining a ground-contacting surface and an upper surface disposed on an opposite side of the outsole than the ground-contacting surface and opposing the cushion, the outsole including a protrusion that extends in a direction away from the midsole to a greater extent than any other portion of the outsole and being aligned with the inner portion.
