SYSTEM FOR REFUELLING A HEARING AID FUEL CELL

A system and method for refuelling a fuel cell having a fuel reservoir. The system includes a cartridge (1) having a first reservoir (2) for storing fuel for the fuel cell and a refuelling unit adapted to receive a waste liquid from the fuel reservoir of the fuel cell and provide fuel from the first reservoir (2) of the cartridge (1) to the fuel reservoir of the fuel cell. The system further includes a second reservoir for storing the waste liquid from the fuel cell, a cartridge for use with the system, a refuelling unit for use with the system.

Gas storage system

Among other things, a gas storage system includes a group of capsules and an activation element coupled to the group. The group of capsules are formed within a substrate and contain gas stored at a relatively high pressure compared to atmospheric pressure. The activation element is configured to deliver energy in an amount sufficient to cause at least one of the capsules to release stored gas.

Hydrogen generating system

The present invention relates to a solid fuel, a system and a method for generating hydrogen. The solid fuel comprises sodium borohydride, catalyst loaded fibres and a binder, wherein the catalyst loaded fibres and the binder form a scaffold structure within which the sodium borohydride is positioned. The system comprises a fuel cartridge containing the solid fuel of the present invention for generating hydrogen gas, a reactor configured to house the fuel cartridge, a tank for storing water, a pump and a liquid conduit for conveying water from the tank to the fuel cartridge housed within the reactor to induce a hydrolysis reaction of the solid fuel contained in the fuel cartridge and a controller for regulating flow of the water.

BOIL-OFF MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

A boil-off management system for a cryotank includes a boil-off conduit which is fluidically connectable to a cryotank via a boil-off valve. The boil-off management system further includes an air feed conduit and a mixing chamber for mixing a first medium (e.g., hydrogen) flowing in through the boil-off conduit with a second medium (e.g., air and/or oxygen) flowing in through the air feed conduit. A catalytic converter is arranged downstream of the mixing chamber and an outlet downstream of the catalytic converter. At least one enrichment apparatus is provided and configured to temporarily increase the proportion of the first medium flowing in through the boil-off conduit in relation to the second medium flowing in through the air feed conduit at the catalytic converter.
