Fuel cell and cell stack device
A cell stack device includes a manifold and a fuel cell. The manifold includes a gas supply chamber and a gas collection chamber. The fuel cell includes a support substrate and a power generation element portion. The support substrate includes first and second gas channels. The first gas channel is connected to the gas supply chamber, and the second gas channel is connected to the gas collection chamber. The first gas channel is open in the gas supply chamber at a proximal end portion. The second gas channel is open in the gas collection chamber at a proximal end portion. The first and second gas channels are connected to each other on the distal end portion side. The first and second gas channels are configured such that a pressure loss of gas in the first gas channel is smaller than a pressure loss of gas in the second gas channel.
FUEL BATTERY CELL, FUEL BATTERY SYSTEM, LEAK DETECTION METHOD
The present invention aims to provide a fuel battery system improved in reliability by accurately detecting when a fuel electrode gas or an air electrode gas has leaked. A fuel battery cell according to the present invention includes a first electrode, an electrolyte membrane, and a second electrode which are layered on a support substrate. Further, at least any one of the first electrode, the electrolyte membrane, and the second electrode is electrically isolated by an insulating member to form a first region and a second region. The insulating member is disposed at a position where the insulating member does not overlap with an opening portion of the support substrate (refer to FIG. 3).

SOLID OXIDE FUEL CELL WITH SCANDIUM-MODIFIED NICKEL FELT ANODE COLLECTOR
A solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC) assembly connectable to a source of a hydrocarbon fuel; said SOFC assembly comprises at least one SOFC. Each SOFC further comprises: (a) an anode support member having a nickel felt-made anode current collector; (b) an electrolyte layer disposed on the anode support member; and a cathode having a cathode current collector; the cathode disposed on said electrolyte layer. The nickel felt-made anode current collector is doped with Scandium.
METHOD OF MANUFACTURING SOLID OXIDE FUEL CELL INCLUDING MULTI-LAYERED ELECTROLYTE LAYER USING CALENDERING PROCESS
Disclosed is a method of manufacturing a solid oxide fuel cell including a multi-layered electrolyte layer using a calendering process. The method for manufacturing a solid oxide fuel cell is a continuous process, thus providing high productivity and maximizing facility investment and processing costs. In addition, the solid oxide fuel cell manufactured by the method includes an anode that is free of interfacial defects and has a uniform packing structure, thereby advantageously greatly improving the production yield and power density. In addition, the solid oxide fuel cell has excellent interfacial bonding strength between respective layers included therein, and includes a multi-layered electrolyte layer in which the secondary phase at the interface is suppressed and which has increased density, thereby advantageously providing excellent output characteristics and long-term stability even at an intermediate operating temperature.
CELL, CELL STACK DEVICE, MODULE, AND MODULE HOUSING DEVICE
A cell includes an element portion, a gas-flow passage, a first metal portion, a second metal portion, and a reinforcing portion. Reaction gas flows through the gas-flow passage. The first metal portion is located between one surface side of the gas-flow passage and the element portion, and supports the element portion. The second metal portion is located on the other surface side opposite to the one surface side of the gas-flow passage. The reinforcing portion is located inside the gas-flow passage and faces the first metal portion and the second metal portion.
Manufacturing method for alloy material, alloy material, electrochemical element, electrochemical module, electrochemical device, energy system and solid oxide fuel cell
Provided is an alloy material including a metal oxide thin layer that can be formed using a simple method at low cost and can further suppress volatilization of Cr, which causes deterioration of a fuel cell, compared with a case where conventional expensive materials are used. Disclosed is a manufacturing method for an alloy material including a coating treatment step for coating a substrate made of a Fe—Cr based alloy with Co, and an oxidation treatment step for performing oxidation treatment on the substrate in a moisture-containing atmosphere after the coating treatment step.
