Graphite sheet has a plurality of cut-out portions arranged linearly. Thermal conduction sheet is bent at a region where cut-out portions are formed. Thus, thermal conduction sheet is attached from one face to the other face of a battery cell, the faces being perpendicular to each other.

The solid electrolyte layer includes a first region containing a first solid electrolyte material and a second region containing a second solid electrolyte material. The first region is positioned within a region where the electrode layer and the counter electrode layer face each other. Moreover, a second density, which is of the second solid electrolyte material in the second region, is higher than a first density, which is of the first solid electrolyte material in the first region.

The isolating member has a first housing space for housing the heat absorbing agent, and contains an amorphous engineering plastic. In addition, the isolating member has a first thin portion having a locally thin wall thickness in at least a part of a region where the first housing space faces each of the plurality of batteries.

The cooling member is arranged to be inclined with respect to a horizontal plane such that a section thereof being in contact with the power storage element to transfer heat is on a lower level.
