A battery sealing device, including an upper pressing member, a polar rod, a battery cover plate, and a sealing member. The polar rod includes polar rod large and small ends, and a polar rod connecting plate. The upper pressing member includes an upper pressing through hole matched with the periphery of the polar rod large end. The battery cover plate includes a cover plate through hole; the polar rod large end penetrates through the upper pressing through hole and the cover plate through hole; the upper pressing member arranged above the battery cover plate. The sealing member includes an upper sealing element formed between the upper pressing member and the battery cover plate, an intermediate sealing element formed in the gap between the cover plate through hole and the polar rod large end, and a lower sealing element formed between the battery cover plate and the polar rod connecting plate.

An outer terminal connection structure of a secondary battery, includes: a first current collector to be welded to non-coating portion tabs of an electrode assembly; a second current collector electrically connected to the first current collector; a cap plate above the second current collector, and connected to an opening of a case, the cap plate having a plate hole; an outer terminal above the cap plate, and electrically connected to the second current collector; an insulator passing through the cap plate to be located above and below the cap plate, the insulator to support the outer terminal at an upper side, and contact the second current collector at a lower side; and a terminal connection part passing through the plate hole to electrically connect the second current collector to the outer terminal. The outer terminal connection structure includes a rotation prevention structure to restrict a relative rotation.

A battery cell includes a housing having an opening, an end cap assembly for closing the opening and including an end cap body and an electrode terminal connected to the end cap body in an insulating manner, and an electrode assembly arranged in the housing and being of a wound structure and including: a wound main body, a first tab and a second tab, the first tab and the second tab having opposite polarities and being connected to the same side of the wound main body along a winding axis of the wound structure. The first tab is electrically connected to the electrode terminal, and the second tab is electrically connected to the end cap body.

A cylindrical battery and a battery pack are provided in embodiments of the application, which relates to the field of battery technology. The cylindrical battery includes a housing, a first end cover, a second end cover, a battery cell, and a pole post. The battery cell is accommodated in the housing, and the first end cover and the second end cover seal at ends of the housing, respectively. The pole post is connected with the battery cell and extended through the first end cover. The pole post is cylindrical, a diameter of the pole post is ?1, and a diameter of the first end cover is ?2, wherein ?1/?2?34%, and ?1?12 mm.

A button-type secondary battery may include an electrode assembly in which electrodes and separators are wound, a can body housing the electrode assembly, a base plate in which a through-hole is defined and which covers an opening of an upper end of the can body and is bonded to the can body, an electrode terminal of which at least a portion is inserted into the through-hole of the base plate and which covers the through-hole, an insulating gasket configured to insulate the electrode terminal and the base plate from each other, and an insulating sheet disposed on a bottom surface of the base plate to insulate the bottom surface of the base plate, wherein a central hole is defined at a winding center of the electrode assembly, and a protrusion protruding in a direction toward the central hole is disposed on a bottom surface of the electrode terminal.

A case-neutral electrochemical cell has an electrode assembly comprising a separator positioned between an anode and a cathode housed inside a casing. The casing supports a co-axial glass-to-metal seal comprising an inner insulating glass hermetically sealed to a terminal pin and to the inner annular surface of an inner ferrule. An outer insulating glass is hermetically sealed to the outer annular surface of the inner ferrule and the inner annular surface of an outer ferrule, and the outer ferrule is secured to an opening in the casing. Then, one of the anode and the cathode is connected to the terminal pin and the other of the anode and the cathole is connected to the first or inner ferrule. An electrolyte is provided in the casing to activate the electrode assembly.

A rechargeable battery pack according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention includes: a battery cell for being charged and discharged; an electrode terminal provided in a cap plate of the battery cell; a protection member disposed above and spaced apart from the cap plate, having one lateral end electrically connected to the electrode terminal, and electrically protecting the battery cell; and a protective circuit module disposed above and spaced apart from the protection member and electrically connected to the other lateral end of the protection member. The other lateral end of the protection member integrally extends to correspond to a connection portion of the protective circuit module.
