Nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery and secondary battery module

The present disclosure relates to a secondary battery module including a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery and an elastic body. The elastic body has a compressive elastic modulus of 5 MPa to 120 MPa. The nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery includes a positive electrode and a negative electrode. The positive electrode includes a positive electrode collector containing Ti as a main component and having a thickness of 1 μm to 8 μm. The negative electrode includes a first layer and a second layer sequentially formed from a side with the negative electrode collector. The first layer contains negative electrode active material particles containing first carbon-based active material particles with a 10% proof stress of 3 MPa or less. The second layer contains negative electrode active material particles containing second carbon-based active material particles with a 10% proof stress of 5 MPa or greater.

LITHIUM SECONDARY BATTERY

A lithium secondary battery includes a positive electrode, a negative electrode, and a porous separator disposed between the positive electrode and the negative electrode, a spacer disposed between the separator and at least one of the positive electrode and the negative electrode, and a non-aqueous electrolyte having lithium ion conductivity. In the negative electrode, the lithium metal deposits during charging, and the lithium metal dissolves during discharging. In a region where the negative electrode and the positive electrode face each other, a first region (R1) facing the spacer and a second region (R2) not facing the spacer are included. The spacer is nonporous or porous, and the spacer has a height (t) of 20 .Math.m or more. When the spacer is porous, the spacer has a porosity Psp, the porosity Psp of the spacer being equal to or less than a porosity Pse the separator.

The pressing member presses the electrode body in a direction perpendicular to the winding axis such that a distance between a portion of the electrode body contacting the pressing member and the sealing plate is longer than a distance between the end portion of the electrode body in the winding axis direction thereof and the sealing plate.
