The dual-band resonator is structured such that a stub is added to each half-wavelength resonator provided with half-wavelength resonator protrusions (capacity-component adjust parts). The dual-band resonator is made up of an odd-number mode resonator in a shape including a ground conductor disposed on the back surface of a dielectric body, and a strip conductor disposed on the top surface thereof, and an even-number mode resonator in such a shape as to be formed when the stub is connected to an end face on the opposite side of the open-end of the strip, characterized in that a dielectric rod having a circular cross section is provided in the space above the respective stubs and another dielectric rod having a circular cross section is provided in the space above the half-wavelength resonator protrusions.
TRIPLE-MODE DIELECTRIC RESONATOR FILTER, METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME, AND BAND PASS FILTER USING DIELECTRIC RESONATOR AND NRN STUB
A triple-mode dielectric resonator filter includes: a dielectric resonator positioned in a cavity of a housing and formed perpendicular to a longitudinal direction of the housing; a dielectric support coupled to the dielectric resonator through a bonding process and mounted and fixed by a fixing screw passing through a screw fixing mounting hole in the cavity of the housing and fixed to support the dielectric resonator at a predetermined height; and compensation blocks formed to protrude at regular intervals on a side surface of the dielectric resonator to allow the dielectric resonator to operate in three modes. A band pass filter composed of a dielectric resonator and an NRN stub achieves an improved insertion loss, high compression properties and a stable structure compared to a typical band pass filter using an NRN stub.

The resonator includes a resonator body, a top resonator plate, and a bottom resonator plate. The resonator body extends through the substrate body from a top surface to a bottom surface of the substrate body, and is formed of at least one of a dielectric material and a magnetic material. The top resonator plate is coupled to a top side of the resonator body and resides over the top surface of the substrate body, and the bottom resonator plate is coupled to a bottom side of the resonator body and resides over the bottom surface of the substrate body. The top resonator plate and the bottom resonator plate are electrically conductive.
FILTERING DIELECTRIC RESONATOR ANTENNAS IMPLEMENTING RADIATION CANCELLATION
Systems and methods which provide filtering dielectric resonator antenna (FDRA) configurations implementing radiation cancellation are disclosed. Embodiments of a FDRA provide implementations of dielectric resonator antennas (DRAs) which are configured with a loop feed structure facilitates radiation cancellation to provide radiation nulls at frequencies outside of a desired passband to thereby implement radiation cancellation for filtering functionality of the FDRA. FDRAs of embodiments may be variously polarized, such as to provide linear polarization or circular polarization.
