Mobile communications station
A mobile communications station may include a supporting frame including an interface for mechanical coupling to a vehicle for transporting the mobile communications station, wherein the interface includes fastening points for attachment of a three-point hitch; a first antenna mounted on the supporting frame to facilitate communication with mobile devices; and a second antenna mounted on the supporting frame to facilitate communication with a distant location, wherein the first antenna and the second antenna are to facilitate a bidirectional communication link between the mobile devices and the distant location.
COMMUNICATION SYSTEM, COMMUNICATION METHOD, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
A communication system is a communication system provided in a mobile body and including an acquirer configured to acquire a destination of the mobile body and a position of the mobile body, and a communicator configured to communicate with a communication device outside the mobile body using an antenna, in which the communicator is configured to set a reception sensitivity of the antenna when the position of the mobile body approaches to within a predetermined distance from the destination of the mobile body to be higher than a reception sensitivity of the antenna before the position of the mobile body approaches to within the predetermined distance.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR INTEGRATED CIRCUIT TRANSITION ELEMENTS
Transitional elements to offset a capacitive impedance in a transmission line are disclosed. Described are various examples of transitional elements in a multilayer substrate that introduce a transitional reactance to cancel the transmission line capacitive effects. The transitional elements reduce insertion loss.
Radar apparatus and error correction method thereof
The present disclosure provides a radar apparatus and a method of correcting an error of the radar apparatus. According to the present disclosure a first transmitting antenna group and a first receiving antenna group are constituted by elongating some of a plurality of transmitting antennas and a plurality of receiving antennas in a first direction of vertical directions, a second transmitting antenna group and a second receiving antenna group are constituted by elongating the other antennas in a second direction opposite to the first direction, and one or more of transmitting antennas that transmit transmission signals and one or more of receiving antennas that receive reflection signals are included in different groups, thereby being able to measure elevation information of an object and correct a mounting position of the radar apparatus on the basis of the information.
TELESCOPIC ANTENNA MAST
An antenna system includes a base section; a plurality of movable antenna sections adapted to fit inside of the base section, each movable antenna section including an outside section and an inside section, wherein the outside section has a plurality of section locks penetrating through the inside and outside sections; and a lock pin to prevent the inside section from collapsing into the outside section in an extended mode.
System and method for characterizing radio and antenna performance using RSS measurements
A communications system for a vehicle includes an antenna mounted on a vehicle and configured to communicate with a plurality of remote units. A diagnostic controller is configured to detect obstacles or damage to the antenna. The diagnostic controller is configured to receive remote messages, measure a receive signal strength of the remote messages, and determine a ratio of low receive signal strength sample messages to total sample messages. The diagnostics controller is further configured to trigger a diagnostic output to the vehicle when the ratio is greater than a predetermined threshold.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR BUILDING AND MANAGING A TRAIN CONSIST
Railyard management system for managing, assembling, disassembling and validating train consists and monitoring railcars in the railyard. The system provides for the collection of data and the movement of data from lower processing levels to higher processing levels, where an inference engine draws inferences regarding the current state of railcars and train consists within the railyard. The inferences can be based on characteristics of a transmission signal received at their respective railcars, said railcars forming a train consist. The system can be used to track the location and orientation of railcars in the railyard and to validate order and orientation of assets in a train consist based on the characteristics of the transmission signal at said railcars.
EMERGENCY RESPONDER INSTALL METHOD
Technology for a vehicle on-frequency repeater system is disclosed. The vehicle repeater can comprise a donor antenna. The vehicle repeater can comprise a server antenna. The vehicle repeater can comprise a first direction amplification path communicatively coupled between the donor antenna and the server antenna. The vehicle repeater can comprise a second direction amplification path communicatively coupled between the donor antenna and the server antenna. The donor antenna can be configured to be mounted on an exterior of a vehicle. The server antenna can be configured to be mounted on or directed towards an exterior of the vehicle facing substantially away from the vehicle to provide an amplified radio frequency signal about the vehicle for communicating with a communication system.
