Hearing device incorporating conformal folded antenna
A hearing device adapted to be worn by a wearer comprises a shell configured for placement on an exterior surface of an ear of the wearer. The shell comprises a first end, a second end, a bottom, a top, and opposing sides, wherein the bottom, top, and opposing sides extend between the first and second ends. Circuitry is provided within the shell comprising at least a microphone, signal processing circuitry, radio circuitry, and a power source. A folded antenna is coupled to the radio circuitry and extends longitudinally along one of the bottom and the top and along the opposing sides between the first and second ends. The folded antenna encompasses at least some of the circuitry and forms an elongated gap between the opposing sides. The elongated gap faces the other of the bottom and the top.

Antenna Apparatus and Electronic Device
An antenna has an exciting element disposed above a ground plane of an electronic device. Power fed to the exciting element excites the ground plane to generate radiation. In this way, radiation capability of the ground plane is not affected by clearance between a display screen and the ground plane, and the antenna is applicable to an electronic device with limited antenna space. In addition, the ground plane serves as a radiation aperture of the electronic device.
Composite right/left-handed transmission line antenna
A composite right/left-handed transmission line antenna includes a first radiator, a second radiator, and a capacitive matching circuit, where the first radiator is connected to the second radiator, the connected first radiator and second radiator are of a ring shape, and the matching circuit is connected to a feed-in point of the first radiator or the second radiator.

Impedance matching for an aperture antenna
A method and apparatus for impedance matching for an antenna aperture are described. In one embodiment, the antenna comprises an antenna aperture having at least one array of antenna elements operable to radiate radio frequency (RF) energy and an integrated composite stack structure coupled to the antenna aperture. The integrated composite stack structure includes a wide angle impedance matching network to provide impedance matching between the antenna aperture and free space and also puts dipole loading on antenna elements.

Impedance compensation system with microstrip and slotline coupling and controllable capacitance
Embodiments of a circuit, system, and method are disclosed. In an embodiment, a circuit includes a first microstrip transmission line, a second microstrip transmission line, and a slotline formation, wherein the slotline formation extends between the first microstrip transmission line and the second microstrip transmission line so that the slotline formation is configured to electromagnetically couple the first microstrip transmission line to the second microstrip transmission line during operation of the circuit. In addition, the circuit includes at least one controllable capacitance circuit electrically connected to at least one of the first microstrip transmission line and the second microstrip transmission line, wherein a magnitude of capacitance of the at least one controllable capacitance circuit is controllable (e.g., in response to a capacitance control signal received at a control interface).
