SIMPLE ULTRA WIDE BAND VERY LOW PROFILE ANTENNA ARRANGED ABOVE SLOPED SURFACE
An ultra wide band antenna includes an antenna body including a first tapered portion that tapers between a first edge and a second edge, wherein the first edge is arranged above a first location of a sloped surface by a predetermined gap. A first portion is located above the sloped surface and including a first edge and a second edge. The first edge of the first portion extends from the second edge of the first tapered portion. A second tapered portion tapers between a first edge and a second edge, wherein the first edge of the second tapered portion extends from the second edge of the first portion. The second edge of the second tapered portion is connected at a second location of the sloped surface located vertically below the first location.

Antenna for Sending and/or Receiving Electromagnetic Signals
An antenna for sending and/or receiving electromagnetic signals and a method for using an antenna for sending and/or receiving electromagnetic signals. The antenna comprises an electrically conducting ground structure extending along a plane; a first structure forming a radiator, being electrically conducting; a second structure, being electrically conducting; and a feed point for connecting the antenna with a signal line. A first end of the first structure and a first end of the second structure are in electrical contact with each other at the feed point. Further, the ground structure is separated from the feed point by a gap and a second end of the second structure is connected to the ground structure. The second structure comprises a bending portion such that the second structure together with a portion of the ground structure surround an area when seen from a direction orthogonal to the plane of the ground structure.

Broadband HF dismount antenna
Broadband HF antenna system includes a conductive radiating element in the form of a continuous conductive loop. The conductive loop includes first and second elongated conductor portions. The conductive loop is electrically connected at first and second loop ends to an impedance matching network disposed within a chassis. The first elongated conductor portion is comprised of a whip antenna which functions as a cantilevered spring attached at one end to the rigid chassis. The whip antenna is resiliently maintained in a curved state by a tension force applied by the second elongated conductor portion. A spacing or gap between the first and second elongated conductor portions to establish the loop configuration is maintained exclusive of any spacer or hanger element.
