The tool includes a glide track assembly, a connector holding member, a gear assembly and a fastener head driver.

Wedge connector assembly with sequential shear bolts

An electrical connector assembly, including a bolt having a tapered distal end; a wedge having a top surface and a bottom surface defining a first aperture extending between and through the top and bottom surfaces, and dimensioned to receive the bolt therethrough; a shell having a top surface, a bottom surface, a first end, and a second end, the shell further defining a first and a second channels, the channels being separated by a middle portion and to receive the wedge therebetween; the shell further having a second aperture extending between the top surface to the bottom surface of the shell and dimensioned to receive the bolt therethrough, wherein the second aperture is configured to be positioned to align and pair with the first aperture when the wedge is positioned between the first and second channels.

Connector and battery module including the same

Disclosed are a connector and a battery module. A connector according to an aspect of the present disclosure is a connector configured to electrically interconnect electrode leads of neighboring battery cells. The connector includes: a main body having a conductive material and having contact portions provided to face each other such that the leads of the neighboring battery cells are brought into contact with the contact portions, respectively; two or more push members disposed to be movable and to be spaced apart from each other between the contact portions so as to bring each of the electrode leads into contact with a corresponding contact portion among the contact portions; a core member disposed to be movable between the push members so as to bring the push members into close contact with corresponding contact portions, respectively; and a movement mechanism configured to move the core member in a second direction crossing a first direction in order to cause the push members in the first direction for close contact.

Sealed connector assembly

A connector assembly includes a female connector body and a male connector body defining a shroud configured to receive the female connector body. The electrical connector assembly further includes a resilient seal axially surrounding a portion of the female connector body. The seal is disposed intermediate the female connector body and the shroud. The connector assembly additionally includes a seal retainer attached to the female connector body. The female connector body defines an outwardly extending retaining ledge on the forward portion of the female connector body. The seal defines an inwardly extending retaining hook engaging the retaining ledge. A portion of the retaining hook is disposed intermediate the female connector body and the seal retainer.

A wedge assembly may include a recess, a first tab, a second tab, and/or a retainer. The recess may be configured to receive a main conductor or a tap conductor when the wedge assembly is installed in an electrical connector. The first tab may be configured to be received by a cavity defined in a bottom portion of a body member of the electrical connector. The first tab and the second tab may define respective apertures therethrough that are configured to receive a bolt of the electrical connector. The bolt may be configured to drive the wedge assembly into the electrical connector such that the main conductor and the tap conductor are electrically connected. The retainer may be configured to releasably secure the bolt within the wedge assembly. The retainer may be configured to be removed to enable removal of the bolt from the wedge assembly.

ELECTROSTATIC DISCHARGE MITIGATION DEVICE

This disclosure provides electrostatic discharge mitigation devices. In one or more embodiments, the electrostatic discharge mitigation device is an electrically conductive insert to transfer static charge from electrically conductive polymer tubing to an electrically conductive polymer operative component.

Wedge connector interface holding device

An apparatus and methods of securing a C-Frame to a cable run during the installation process of a cable tap are disclosed. A holding device is removably coupled to an interface positioned adjacent to a C-Frame loosely coupled to a cable run. The holding device which is coupled to the interface is slid over and onto the C-Frame, thereby securing the C-Frame to the cable run. Thereafter, a cable tap is coupled to the C-Frame.

A captive shear bolt assembly includes a bolt and a shear coupling. The bolt may have a head, an extension, and a shank. The shear coupling may be configured to be received by the extension. The shear coupling may be configured to receive the extension via an orifice in the shear coupling. The shear coupling may be configured to shear when an upper head of the shear coupling is driven at a threshold torque. When the shear coupling has sheared, the extension may be configured to captively secure the upper head to the bolt. The captive shear bolt assembly may be used in a tap connector for electrically connecting a main conductor to a tap conductor.
