A functional contactor is provided. Provided according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention is a functional contactor comprising: a conductor which has elasticity and comes into contact with a conductor of an electronic device; a functional element which is connected to the conductor having elasticity and has a first and a second electrode respectively disposed on at least a part of an upper and a lower surface thereof; and a solder through which a lower surface of the conductor having elasticity is coupled with the first electrode of the functional element. The first electrode includes a first part outwardly extending from the lower surface of the conductor having elasticity along one side surface of the conductor having elasticity, and the solder includes an exposure part formed between the first part and a partial lateral surface of the one side surface of the conductor having elasticity.

The present disclosure discloses an elastic connection structure, which includes: a pair of mount members respectively electrically connected to a first circuit board, at least one first contact member in elastic connection to one mount member of the pair of mount members and electrically connected to one side of the second circuit board, and at least one second contact member in elastic connection to the other mounting member of the pair of mount members and electrically connected to the other side of the second circuit board. The second circuit board is clamped between the first contact member and the second contact member, such that the first circuit board is electrically connected to the second circuit board via the elastic connection structure.

Cable assembly for a cable connector module

A cable assembly includes a cable having an insulator holding a first signal conductor and a second signal conductor and a cable shield surrounding the insulator. Exposed portions of the signal conductors extend forward of an end of the insulator for termination to a circuit card. The cable assembly includes a ground clip coupled to the end of the cable. The ground clip includes a bottom ground rake below the cable and a top ground hood above the cable. The bottom ground rake includes a window that receives the exposed portions of the first and second signal conductors therethrough. The bottom ground rake includes a lower grounding tab electrically connected to a lower portion of the cable shield and the top ground hood includes an upper grounding tab electrically connected to an upper portion of the cable shield. The bottom ground rake is coupled to the circuit card to support the cable relative to the circuit card.

The cable connector module includes a housing coupled to the cage, a circuit card received in the cavity of the housing, and cable assemblies coupled to the circuit card. The circuit card is coupled to the socket connector.

CABLE ASSEMBLY FOR A CABLE CONNECTOR MODULE

A cable assembly includes a cable having an insulator holding a first signal conductor and a second signal conductor and a cable shield surrounding the insulator. Exposed portions of the signal conductors extend forward of an end of the insulator for termination to a circuit card. The cable assembly includes a ground clip coupled to the end of the cable.
