An electrical connector includes an insulating body and multiple differential signal terminal pairs, each having two differential signal terminals. Each differential signal terminal has a main body portion, a strip connecting portion extending upward from an outer side of the main body portion, an elastic arm extending upward from the main body portion, and a contact portion extending upward from the elastic arm. A through slot runs through the elastic arm, forming an inner elastic arm and an outer elastic arm at two opposite sides of the through slot. The outer elastic arm is adjacent to the strip connecting portion. A consistent pitch is formed between the contact portions of the differential signal terminals. A first distance between two adjacent inner elastic arms in each differential signal terminal pair is less than a second distance between two adjacent outer elastic arms in two adjacent differential signal terminal pairs.

An electrical connector includes an insulating body and multiple terminals accommodated in the insulating body. Each terminal has a base portion, a strip connecting portion extending upward from the base portion to be connected to a strip, and an elastic arm extending from the base portion. The elastic arm has a first tearing edge torn from the strip connecting portion, a second tearing edge torn from the strip, and a blanking edge blanked from the strip. The second tearing edge or the blanking edge has a dividing point. When each terminal is connected to the strip and expanded in a same vertical plane, the dividing point and a top point of the first tearing edge are vertically aligned. After the elastic arm is formed by bending, the dividing point and the first tearing edge are both located at a back side of the strip connecting portion.

An electrical pin and sleeve device is disclosed. The pin and sleeve device incorporating one or more features to facilitate easier assembly and use. For example, the pin and sleeve device may include one or more indicators (e.g., LEDs) mounted on a printed circuit board (PCB) for providing power supply indication, and/or status or fault notification. Additionally, and/or alternatively, the PCB may be adapted and configured to be inserted into one or more slots formed in the contact carrier and/or the body member of the device. Additionally, and/or alternatively, the PCB may receive electrical power via clips coupled to electrical wires or leads, the clips electrically contacting the pins and/or sleeves of the device.

A bus bar may be aligned by the tracks such that contact surfaces on the contact fingers press against contact surfaces on the bus bar. The bus bar may slide in the tracks such that, when the bus bar is mounted in an electronic system including the electronic assembly, the electrical connector terminals enable the electronic assembly to slide relative to the bus bar. The electronic system may be implemented as a rack, and the electronic assembly may be or include a printed circuit board on which the electrical connector terminals are mounted. The printed circuit board may be slid in and out of the rack while power is supplied from the bus bar to components on the printed circuit board.

Each wafer assembly includes a wafer, a plurality of terminals partially embedded in the wafer where each terminal includes a connecting portion embedded in the wafer, a resiliently compressible mating portion for making solderless contact with a corresponding conductive pad of a PCB and a contact portion. The wafer is molded over the terminals. The wafer assembly also includes a plurality of wires terminated in termination regions at the contact portions of the terminals, and a shield disposed in the recess of the wafer and extending across the wafer. The connector assembly further includes a housing molded over the stacked wafers and the termination regions.

A wire harness assembly including a first connector, a second connector, and conductors extending between the first connector and the second connector. Contacts are provided on the second connector. The contacts have termination sections which are mounted on the second connector, compliant sections which extend from the termination sections, and substrate engagement sections which extend from the compliant sections. The substrate engagement sections have curved contact sections which are configured to be positioned in mechanical and electrical engagement with circuit pads of a mating printed circuit board. Embossments are provided on the curved contact sections to provide additional strength and stability to the curved contact sections.

A side surface of each ground contact facing the corresponding signal contact includes a shielding contact portion in electrical contact with the ground contact of the adapter connector. A plugging space for plugging the contact module of the adapter connector is between the signal contacts and the ground contacts. The female connector enables the adapted contact unit to be clamped between the corresponding signal contact and the corresponding ground contact to realize corresponding conduction.

Card slot members are aligned with contacts of the terminals. In an embodiment a connector can include a wafer that supports two rows of terminals on both sides of a card slot. At least some of the terminals (553) include a contact (553b) at one end which is over molded with an insulative material. These contacts are over molded except for the end (553a) of the terminal which is left exposed.

The front ends of the two embracing arms are attached with solder liquid formed by melting of the solder ball during soldering.
