A wire harness assembly including a first connector, a second connector, and conductors extending between the first connector and the second connector. Contacts are provided on the second connector. The contacts have termination sections which are mounted on the second connector, compliant sections which extend from the termination sections, and substrate engagement sections which extend from the compliant sections. The substrate engagement sections have curved contact sections which are configured to be positioned in mechanical and electrical engagement with circuit pads of a mating printed circuit board. Embossments are provided on the curved contact sections to provide additional strength and stability to the curved contact sections.

An upper contacting arm extends, toward the extension section, from an upper end of the retention section with an upper mating apex and an upper abutment tip region, and a lower contacting arm extends, toward the extension, from a lower end of the retention section with a lower mating apex and a lower abutment tip region. An upper abutment tab upwardly and obliquely extends from an upper end of the extension section toward the retention section and adapted to be mated with the upper abutment tip region when the upper contacting arm is downwardly depressed by the CPU.

The autonomous cleaning robot also includes one or more electrical contacts, a base of each electrical contact being mounted on the circuit board and a contact tip of each electrical contact being configured to protrude through a corresponding opening in the upper surface, wherein each electrical contact comprises a double curved structure to allow the electrical contact to be vertically flexible. The autonomous cleaning robot also includes a hinged lid including one or more contact pads, the one or more contact pads being configured to contact corresponding electrical contacts protruding through the upper surface as the lid is opened or closed.

An electrical connector includes an insulative housing, and plural rows of contact modules therein. Each contact module includes plural contacts integrally formed within an insulator/wafter which extends in a longitudinal direction. In each contact module, each contact includes a main body with opposite contacting arms on upper and lower sections wherein the contacts in the same contact carrier are originally linked with the neighboring contacts around lateral sides of the main body for insert-molding consideration, and the corresponding linking sections are removed for disconnecting the neighboring the contacts after insert-molding to form the final complete contact module. Each contacting arm forms a hole with two spaced beams by two sides of the hole. The contact may further include a holding tab exposed in the hole so as to allow a gripping tool to be engaged thereon for assembling the contact module into the channel of the housing.
