Conductive slip ring

The present disclosure disclosed a conductive slip ring including a first terminal group and a second terminal group. The first terminal group includes a first terminal and a second terminal. The first terminal has a first contact portion provided with a first annular contact surface. The second terminal has a second contact portion provided with a second annular contact surface. The second terminal group includes a third terminal and a fourth terminal. The third terminal is in rotating contact with the first annular contact surface of the first terminal. The fourth terminal is in rotating contact with the second annular contact surface of the second terminal. The first annular contact surface and the second annular contact surface are spaced apart from each other along an axial direction of the conductive slip ring. As a result, structure of the conductive slip ring can be made in a more compact manner.

Method for assembling a plug on a multi-core sheathed cable, and electrical plug

A method assembles a plug on a multi-core sheathed cable which extends in a longitudinal direction and has multiple wires surrounded by a cable sheath. A sealing element made of a sealing material is applied to the multiple wires. The sealing element has individual passages formed through the sealing material for the wires. Subsequently, the wires are assembled in a plug housing, wherein the plug housing has an opening at a rear end thereof, and the sealing element is inserted into the opening and shifted preferably along the wires such that the sealing element sits in the opening in a sealing manner. A sealing coating is then applied, which extends from the rear end of the plug housing to the cable sheath.

Contact and Interposer

A contact includes a base portion having a first end and a second end, a first extending portion extending from first end of the base portion and having a first contact portion, and a second extending portion extending from the second end of the base portion and having a second contact portion. The base portion extends between the first end and the second end. The base portion has a pair of base portion beams having a first space therebetween. Each of the base portion beams has a press-fit portion protruding from one of the base portion beams toward the other of the base portion beams; the press-fit portions are press-fittable into a housing and supportable by the housing.

Electrical connector

An electrical connector includes contact pins, insulating housings for containing the contact pins therein and metallic outer contacts for respectively covering the housings. Each of the contact pins includes a horizontally extending portion, a contact portion, a connection portion, a downwardly extending portion and a press-fitting shoulder extending from a side portion of a base end portion of the horizontally extending portion in a width direction thereof. A width of the press-fitting shoulder of each of the contact pins decreases from a base side toward a tip side.
