An electrical connector includes a male connector and a female connector. The male connector has a housing, a first tubular conductor, a second tubular conductor, and an inner conductor. The first tubular conductor is carried by the housing and has an exposed first cylindrical contact surface. The second tubular conductor has an exposed second cylindrical contact surface of a smaller diameter than the first cylindrical contact surface. The inner conductor has an exposed contact surface that has a smaller diameter than the second cylindrical contact surface. The female connector has a non-conductive female connector housing and three electrical contacts carried by the female connector housing. Each of the three electrical contacts electrically connect, with the male connector engaged with the female connector, to a respective one of the contact surfaces of the male connector.

Systems and methods for a cable clip

Various embodiments of a cable clip having a clip housing configured to engage a casing to establish an operative connection with a portable device encased within the casing are disclosed.

Connector

A housing of a connector has end faces at both ends thereof in a pitch direction. The end faces correspond to protruding blocks of a mating connector 50, respectively. Two guide members are distinct and separated from each other. Each of the guide members has a side portion and two supporting portions. The guide members correspond to the end faces, respectively. Accordingly, the side portion and the supporting portions correspond to one of the end faces. The side portion is located apart from the end face corresponding thereto in the pitch direction. The side portion, the supporting portions and the end face corresponding to the side portion form a receiving portion. The receiving portion guides and receives the protruding block corresponding to the end face forming the receiving portion when the connector and the mating connector are mated with each other.

Method for producing a connecting device
11545805 · 2023-01-03 · ·

A method for producing a connecting device for connecting films with conductor tracks includes the steps of laying a first film with conductor tracks onto a forming die, applying a first lower shell of a plastic material onto a first end portion of the forming die, producing a cut-out and shifting the first film so that the cut-out lies completely on the first lower shell, applying upper conductor tracks of a conductive material onto the first lower shell so that the upper conductor tracks overlap with the conductor tracks of the first film, and applying a first upper shell of a plastic material onto the first lower shell so that the first film, the first lower shell and the first upper shell connect together by substance bonding to form a first connector. In this way, an integral connector can be provided on each film.

SEALED ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR HAVING A MALE BLADE STABILIZER WITH A SEAL RETENTION FEATURE

A sealed connector assembly includes a female connector having an inner wall, an outer wall substantially parallel to the inner wall, and a resilient seal circumferentially extending from the inner wall and a male connector having a shroud extending parallel to the mating axis and a male blade stabilizer (MBS) moveable from a pre-staged position to a fully staged position and back to the pre-staged position. The MBS is configured to move from the pre-staged position to the fully staged position as the shroud is received between the outer wall and the resilient seal, thereby disposing the MBS between the inner and outer walls and retaining the resilient seal in an intended location. The MBS remains engaged to female connector until the shroud is withdrawn from between the outer wall and the resilient seal, thereby retaining the resilient seal in the intended location as the male connector is unmated.
