An electrical connector assembly includes a first electrical contact device and a second electrical contact device. The first electrical contact device includes a plurality of conductors. The second electrical contact device includes a first portion, a second portion movable in a rotational and translational manner relative to the first portion, and an actuator movable between a first position and a second position. The first portion includes first electrical contacts, and the second portion includes electrical sockets. Each socket receives an associated conductor and includes a second electrical contact aligned with an associated first electrical contact. The second portion is biased away from the first portion. When the actuator is in the first position, the actuator inhibits translational movement of the second portion toward the first portion. When the actuator is in the second position, the second portion is movable toward the first portion to permit the second electrical contacts to engage the first electrical contacts.

Terminal metal fitting and engagement structure of terminal metal fitting and housing

A terminal metal fitting (10) includes a tubular box portion (11) receiving a counterpart terminal; a lock hole (14) formed through a wall (11a) of the box portion (11) and receiving the lock projection (25); a terminal spring (16) extending from an inner wall surface of the box portion (11) to press and contact to the counterpart terminal; and a supporting point portion (15) formed at a portion around the lock hole (14) to have a cantilevered-shape. The supporting point portion (15) serves as a supporting point (15a) when the terminal spring (16) contacts to the counterpart terminal.

Blood pump connectors

An implantable blood pump system is disclosed herein. The implantable blood pump system includes an implantable blood pump, a controller coupled to the blood pump, a connector receptacle, and a connector insert. The connector receptacle can include a plurality of contacts, and a following surface. The connector insert can be received within the connector receptacle to couple a plurality of insert contacts with the plurality of contacts of the connector receptacle. The connector insert can include walls defining a follower receptacle that can receive a portion of the following surface when the connector insert is in a desired alignment with respect to the connector receptacle, and a cam surface that can engage with the following surface to bias the connector insert to the desired alignment with respect to the connector receptacle when the connector insert is inserted into the connector receptacle.

A housing (10) is formed with a partial locking stopper (21) and a full locking stopper (24). A slide lever (25) (operating member) is formed with a single hook (33) having a partial locking contact surface (35) and a full locking contact surface (36). The partial locking contact surface (35) is at an acute angle to a sliding direction of the slide lever (25) and restricts a movement of the slide lever (25) at the partial locking position in a direction separating from the housing (10) by contacting the partial locking stopper (21). The full locking contact surface (36) is at an obtuse angle to the sliding direction of the slide lever (25) and restricts a movement of the slide lever (25) at the full locking position toward the partial locking position by contacting the full locking stopper (24) in a semi-locked state.
