Lever-type connector
A lever-type connector includes a connector body including side walls and a boss portion and a lever including a pair of arm portions, each of the pair of arm portions being provided with a boss fitting hole into which the boss portion of the connector body is to be inserted, the lever being to be rotatably attached to the connector body. The connector body and the lever includes a first and second alignment marks, the first alignment mark and the second alignment mark being visually recognizable while the lever is being attached to the connector body. The lever is, by aligning the second alignment mark with the first alignment mark, to be rotatably attached to the connector body with a position of the boss portion and a position of the fitting hole being aligned with each other, allowing the boss portion to be inserted into the boss fitting hole.
CONNECTOR
A lever is supported so as to be rotatable with respect to a housing to a temporary locking position and a main locking position. One of the housing and the lever is provided with a first locking portion capable of flexible deformation, and another is provided with a second locking portion. The first locking portion includes a first apex portion and a first locking surface that is connected to the first apex portion. The second locking portion includes a second locking surface that contacts the first locking portion and stops the lever at the temporary locking position. The second locking surface includes an inclined side that is disposed, in a state where the first locking portion has bent due to interference between the first apex portion and the second locking portion, so as to be inclined from the first apex portion toward the first locking surface.
LEVER-TYPE CONNECTOR
It is aimed to connect a first housing and a second housing in an opposed state and detect connection of the housings. A lever-type connector includes a cam follower formed on a second housing and configured to connect the first and second housings by sliding in contact with a cam groove in a rotation process of a lever from an initial position to a connection position, a restricting pin provided on the first housing and arranged at a position deviated in a direction intersecting a connecting direction with respect to a virtual connection line, a restricting groove to be brought into sliding contact with the restricting pin, and a connection detector for allowing the lever to slide to a connection detecting position eccentric from a center of rotation only when the lever reaches the connection position and the first and second housings are connected in an opposed positional relationship.
Electrical connector with lock lever
A plug as an electrical connector according to the present disclosure includes a box-shaped housing and a lock lever having an arm in such a manner that a base end of the arm is rotatable, and the lock lever is configured to pull the mating housing inside the box-shaped housing. On a side face of the box-shaped housing, a projection is provided which can be hidden from the side face thereof. A recess is provided in an intermediate portion of the arm of the lock lever, and the projection can be introduced and the rotation of the lock lever in the one direction can be prevented. The recess includes a bottom wall (first inner wall) and a side wall (second inner wall) formed therein which can be pressed by the projection by a rotational force of the lock lever in one direction being divided.
Electric connector with connector position assurance
An electric connector assembly includes a housing and an assist lever is attached to the housing for relative rotational movement. The electric connector assembly includes a latch that retains the assist lever in a final position relative to the housing. The electric connector assembly also includes a connector position assurance that is attached to the housing for relative movement between a pre-lock position and a lock position. When the connector position assurance is in the lock position, it extends into a notch in the assist lever and prevents rotation of the assist lever relative to the housing.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR HAVING POSITION HOLDER
An electrical connector comprises: a housing provided with a locking portion; a locking lever, which has a first arm and a second arm connected to opposite sides of the housing, and a beam portion extending between the first arm and the second arm, with a channel being provided in the beam portion; and a connector position assurance member, the connector position assurance member having a locking edge, the connector position assurance member being inserted into the channel from an open end of the channel, and the connector position assurance member having a pre-installed position and a locked position in the channel, wherein when the locking lever pivots to the second position and the connector position assurance member enters into the locked position, the locking edge abuts against the locking portion in the channel, thereby locking a rotational motion of the locking lever.
Unitized cable plug array for mobile power generation equipment
A system for coupling plugs and receptacles comprises a deformable base extending along an axis from a first end, through a middle portion and to a second end along a non-linear path, first connectors mounted to the base at different axial positions, a housing extending linearly from a third end to a fourth end, second connectors located on the housing at different linear positions, and a closure mechanism configured to deform the base such that each connector of the first connectors aligns with and is couplable to a corresponding connector of the second connectors. A method for coupling plugs and sockets comprises coupling a first plug extending from a base to a first socket located in a housing, aligning a second plug extending from the base with a second socket located in the housing, and flexing the base to bring the second plug into engagement with the second socket.
Electrical plug connector with closing aid
The invention relates to a plug connection (1) which consists of a plug connector (2) and a mating plug connector (3) that can be plugged together in order to form the plug connection (1), comprising a retraction aid which is arranged on a part of the plug connector (1) and which interacts with another part on the mating plug connector (3). The plug connector (1) and the mating plug connector (3) have a retraction aid, said retraction aid being actuated axially in the plug-in direction automatically when the plug connector and the mating plug connector are plugged together.
Housing assembly for a connector, method for releasing a connection between a connector and a mating connector
A housing assembly for a connector includes a securing mechanism for securing the connector to a mating connector in a securing position, and a locking mechanism. The locking mechanism in a locking position locks the securing mechanism in the securing position. The locking mechanism is latchable in a holding position in which the securing mechanism can be moved out of the securing position.
Electrical connector assembly with mating lever and CPA
An electrical connector assembly has a housing, that houses at least one electrical contact and a mating lever that is arranged pivotable relative to the housing between an alignment position and a mating position. The mating lever is engageable with the electrical counter connector assembly, in order to move the electrical counter connector assembly along a mating direction A relative to the housing into a mated configuration, when being pivoted from the alignment position to the mating position. A connector position assurance member is arranged moveable relative to the housing so as to be moveable into a locked position, and an elastic element. The elastic element is associated with the connector position assurance member and urges the connector position assurance member into the locked position when the mating lever is in the mating position, so that the connector position assurance member locks the mating lever in the mating position.
