Buckle device
A buckle device into which a tongue plate provided on a seat belt of a vehicle is to be inserted, and which detachably engages with the inserted tongue plate. The buckle device includes a hollow buckle body, an operating member configured to be operated in response to a release operation for releasing engagement between the tongue plate and the buckle device, the operating member being supported, in the buckle body, to be slidable in an insertion direction of the tongue plate, and an inertia member supported, in the buckle body, to be rotatable about a rotation center axis extending in a width direction of the tongue plate.
Belt buckle for a vehicle safety belt
A belt buckle for a vehicle safety belt, comprising a housing (3) which is formed by at least two housing shells (1,2) joined together and in which a locking mechanism (4) is arranged, and a pushbutton (22), provided on said housing, for operating the locking mechanism (4), wherein at least two housing shells (1,2) are joined together at their shell rims and that elongated cover strips (8,9) made of solid material and covering the mutually abutting rims (17,18) of the housing shells (1,2) are fixed to the joined housing shells (1,2).
Seatbelt buckling device and system
A seatbelt buckling device and system includes a buckle and a latch plate. The latch plate includes a pair of fingers that extend from a base portion. The buckle includes buckle housing that defines a slot that is configured to receive the fingers of the latch plate. The buckle also includes a blocking member disposed in the slot that splits the slot into first and second slot portions. The first and second slot portions are sized to receive the fingers. The blocking member restricts debris from entering a cavity of the buckle housing. The buckle further includes a depressible button for releasing the latch plate. The blocking member is arranged as a blockout portion integrated into the button or an ejector protrusion extending from an ejector disposed within the buckle.
DETACHABLE DEVICE, DETACHABLE DEVICE SET, AND LATCHING STRUCTURE
A detachable device includes a base, an object, and a latching structure. The object is detachably disposed over the base and has a fastening part. The latching structure is for detachably connecting the base and the object and includes a main body disposed on the base with a distance from the base. The main body includes a buckle part and a release part. The buckle part is for detachably buckling with the fastening part of the object. The release part is connected to the buckle part and is arranged on a side of the buckle part away from the fastening part. When being pushed by an external force, the release part drives the buckle part away from the fastening part, and the object is detached from the base.
Belt buckle having a fastening device for a cable
Belt buckle (I) for a seat belt system. A cable (6) fastens the belt buckle (1) to a vehicle by a fastening device (7) riveted to the buckle housing (3). The fastening device (7) having a plate-like base (8) from the base surface (9) with a contact projection (11) having a radial arcuate contact surface (12) for a loop (13) formed by the cable (6) protrudes. A pin (14) protrudes from the contact projection (11) which is offset eccentrically in relation to a vertex (15) of the arcuate contact surface (12) of the contact projection (11) around which the cable (6) wraps. A distance (16) of the vertex (15) of the contact surface (12) to a center (17) of the pin (14) is smaller than a radius of curvature (18) of the contact surface (12) at the vertex (15).
Harsh environment buckle assemblies and associated systems and methods
In one embodiment, a buckle assembly includes a release actuator that can apply a first force and a second force to release a web connector. The release actuator is slidably coupled to a frame that includes a pair of opposing openings. A pawl is pivotally mounted to the frame via the opposing openings and includes a latch portion positioned to releasably engage the web connector. A biasing member is operably positioned between the release actuator and the pawl, and the release actuator is movable to compress the biasing member and exert the first force against the pawl. The release actuator is also movable to contact the pawl to exert the second force against the pawl. The first and second forces urge the pawl to rotate and disengage the latch portion from the web connector.
Interlocking web connectors for occupant restraint systems and associated methods of use and manufacture
Web connectors for use in occupant restraint systems in a vehicle are disclosed herein. In one embodiment, first and second web connectors include first and second web receiving portions, respectively. The first web receiving portion includes a first projection at a first side and a first recess adjacent a second side opposite the first side. The first recess includes a first surface feature. The second web receiving portion includes a second recess and a second projection having a second surface feature. In this embodiment, the second recess is configured to receive the first projection, the first recess is configured to receive the second projection, and the first surface feature is configured to engage the second surface feature to resist movement between the first and second connectors during use.
Belt Buckle for a Safety Belt System
A belt buckle (1) for a seatbelt system including a spring-loaded lock mechanism (3) having a securing pin (2) for locking a belt tongue (5) inserted into a buckle housing (4), a pushbutton (7), a frame (6) which is displaceably guided on the buckle housing (4) under spring effect to impact upon the lock mechanism (3) for unlocking of the belt buckle (1). In the frame (6) a recess (9) including at least one contact region (8) is formed for guiding and/or retaining the securing pin (2) contacting the contact region (8) upon an actuation of the belt buckle (1). At least one contact region (8) of the recess (9) formed on the pushbutton (7) having a noise-damping element (10, 11) for reducing noise emission in the region where the securing pin (2) abuts against the pushbutton (7).
Belt Buckle Having a Fastening Device for a Cable
Belt buckle (1) for a seat belt system.
