20230006400 · 2023-01-05 ·

A coil spring has a longitudinal component located within the coil spring, where the longitudinal component runs generally along the direction of a longitudinal axis of the coil spring and where the longitudinal component is in contact with the coil spring, characterized in that the longitudinal component biases the coil spring into a shape different from its natural shape and/or from the shape into which the coil spring is biased by a groove in which the coil spring is accommodated. Moreover, the coil spring may be shaped by means of the described longitudinal component. Further, a connector part is disclosed that has the described coil spring and is configured for being connected with a mating connector part. And finally, a connector is disclosed which has the described connector part and the mating connector part.

An electrical connector is attached to a wiring substrate and mated with a counterpart connector connected to a signal transmission medium. A shell of the electrical connector has a pair of wall parts that contact a ground member on the counterpart connector. One wall part distant from the signal transmission medium includes a first side plate that has one end attached to a ground conductive path of the wiring substrate and extends in a direction away from the wiring substrate, a joining part that has one end joined to another end of the first side plate, and a second side plate that has one end joined to another end of the joining part and extends in a direction closer to the wiring substrate. The second side plate has a contact piece that extends in a direction away from the wiring substrate and elastically contacts the ground member.

The multiple conductors extend along the lower insulating layer and the reinforcing plate, and the lower contact portion and the terminal overlap in a side view.

Electrical connector assembly with electromagnetic shielding frame surrounding plurality of terminals and connector housing

Provided is a connector in which a frame is provided with a bending portion while the properties of the frame are maintained. The connector includes a housing to which contacts are attached and a frame which has an end in the first direction fixed to a board and which surrounds the housing. Of the frame, an end portion on a board side in the first direction is provided with a bending portion bent in a second direction, the second direction intersecting the first direction, and a pair of adjacent surfaces adjacent to opposite end surfaces of the bending portion in a third direction, the third direction intersecting each of the first direction and the second direction.

Connector assembly and connector

Each of a first connector and a second connector of a connector assembly includes at least two high frequency signal terminals. When viewed from a first direction, each periphery of the high frequency signal terminals is surrounded by an outer shell and an inner shell. The outer shell has a substantially quadrilateral shape. The high frequency signal terminals, the outer shells surrounding peripheries of the high frequency signal terminals, and the inner shells, which are disposed on a second symmetry axis form a linearly symmetrical shape with the second symmetry axis as a center line of the outer shells along a second direction orthogonal to the first direction in which the high frequency signal terminals are arranged.
