Backplane connector with improved shielding effect
A backplane connector includes a housing and a number of terminal modules. Each terminal module includes a number of conductive terminals, a metal shield surrounding member, a first metal shield and a second metal shield. The conductive terminal includes a mating portion and a tail portion. The conductive terminals include a first signal terminal and a second signal terminal. The metal shield surrounding member surrounds the mating portions of the first signal terminal and the second signal terminal. The first metal shield and the second metal shield are in contact with the metal shield surrounding member. As a result, the shielding area is increased and the shielding effect is improved.

Electrical connector with surrounding shield member with outward protrusion connected to a circuit board
Provided is a connector including a surrounding wall with an improved strength against an outward force. The connector of the invention includes a contact that contacts a counter contact of a counter connector, a housing to which the contact is fitted and attached, and a surrounding wall disposed to surround the housing. A gap is provided between the housing and the surrounding wall, and in a connector fitting state, the surrounding wall is in contact with a counter surrounding wall of the counter connector that has entered the gap. The surrounding wall is provided with a protrusion portion protruding outward in a second direction intersecting a first direction, and an end portion on a board side of the protrusion portion in the first direction is in contact with a board.
Terminal System Of A Connector System
A terminal system includes a first terminal assembly, a sleeve disposed around the first terminal assembly, and a second terminal assembly matable with the first terminal assembly along a longitudinal direction. The sleeve is movable with respect to the first terminal assembly from an insertion position to an end position along the longitudinal direction toward the second terminal assembly while the first terminal assembly remains stationary in a mated position with the second terminal assembly.
Protection End Cover, Connector and Connector Assembly
A protection end cover for a sealing ring includes a body having a first end insertable into an insertion hole of a housing of a connector and a second end positioned outside the housing, a first flange on a first outer peripheral surface of the first end of the body, and a second flange on a second outer peripheral surface of the second end of the body. The first flange engages with a blocking part of the housing to prevent the protection end cover from being pulled out of the insertion hole. The second flange abuts against an outer end surface of the housing to limit the protection end cover at a predetermined insertion position.

CABLE CONNECTOR ASSEMBLY
A cable connector assembly includes a contact holder holding first and second contacts in contact channels terminated to ends of conductors of a cable. The contacts have mating ends forward of the front of the contact holder. The cable connector assembly includes a contact shield coupled to the contact holder having a base and a shroud. The base surrounds a base chamber that receives an end of the cable and the contact holder and provides electrical shielding at first and second interfaces. The shroud surrounds a shroud chamber that receives the mating ends of the first and second contacts to provide electrical shielding along the mating ends of the first and second contacts.
Electrical connector and electrical connector assembly
An electrical connector includes multiple electrical modules sequentially stacked along a vertical direction. Each electrical module includes an insulating block being arc-shaped, a row of conductors fixed to the insulating block, and a first shielding member. The row of conductors includes multiple first grounding conductors and multiple pairs of first signal conductors arranged on the insulating block along a left-right direction. The two first signal conductors in a same pair of first signal conductors have a same length. The first shielding member has a first main body portion overlapping with a projection of one pair of first signal conductors in the vertical direction. The first shielding member and each conductor bend and extend downward from a top thereof and backward from a front thereof to be arc-shaped. The first contact portions of the row of conductors located on the same electrical module are located on a same horizontal plane.

Retractable EMC protection
A system and method for providing electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) protection for a removable component through a retractable EMC protection apparatus. The EMC protection apparatus includes an actuation pin, a stabilizing bracket, an actuation arm, a spring brace, an arm spring, a second stabilizing bracket, a rounded pin, an angled engagement feature, an enclosure opening, a conductive surface, a protection device spring, and a retractable EMC protection device. The actuation pin is configured to engage upon a surface of an end product upon insertion of the removable component into the end product. The activation arm is configured to simultaneously compress the arm spring against the stop brace and to push on the angled engagement feature. The angled engagement feature is configured to push in a downward direction on the conductive surface to seal an enclosure opening of the removable component with the retractable EMC protection device.
